Devin Haney Becomes The Youngest Promoter in Boxing History

LAS VEGAS, NV (Kolovoz 15, 2018) – Devin Haney Promotions, the promotional company owned by undefeated WBC Youth a USBA Lightweight Champion, Devin “The Dream” Haney (19-0, 13 Kos), was just granted a boxing promoter’s license by the California State Athletic Department (CSAC).

 

 

 

At 19-Years old, Devin Haney, who was born in San Francisco and raised in Oakland, becomes the youngest promoter in boxing history. With the approved application, Devin Haney Promotions is off to a good start and looking is forward to showcasing events in California.

 

 

 

“Getting approved for my promoter’s license in California is something I envisioned since I turned professional,” said an elated Devin Haney, who now lives in Las Vegas. “Devin Haney Promotions will start doing shows on a modest scale that will eventually lead to mega events.”

 

 

 

“I already have a couple of young hungry prospects on my roster and will be looking to sign other talented fighters as we march forward,” Haney continued. “I plan to showcase some of the best fighters in boxing.”

“B Is For Boxing,” an illustrated children’s book which will help kids learn their A-B-Cs, is now in better bookstores everywhere.

Authored by ex world title challenger Dmitriy Salita, along with Hall of Fame publicist Bill Caplan and Michael Salita, Dmitriy’s brother, this book is an “outside the box” effort to get little ones on the road to mastering language basics.

“I have been boxing since I am 13 years old at Starrett City boxing club in Brooklyn,” Dmitriy Salita explains. “I love boxing and the many lessons it can teach. As a father I feel a responsibility to
present the educational aspects of the sport that I love in an interactive educational way. My brother and I came up with this idea and have worked on combining the alphabet with meaningful boxing terminology and historical events that is appealing and educational to both kids and adults!”

“A is for arena,” pint-sized learners are told, and the illustrations, by Elena Stekacheva, help budding readers cement the alphabet in their brains.

None other than former heavyweight champion George Foreman says this book is a knockout of a effort. “‘B Is For Boxing” is an interesting book and a fun way to interact with children,” says the ex pugilist who has ten children and 14 grand-children, “teaching them the alphabet and how to read.”

Key West, Florida (Rujan 6, 2015) -Boks Manager Si Star, Predsjednik SHS Boks menadžment, preminuo u dobi od 81 prošli ponedjeljak zbog komplikacija od srčanog udara.
Stern je uspio tri puta, dva podjela Randall “Kucanje Out kralja” Bejli, Veteran teškoj Sherman “Spremnik” Williams, Marcus “Arilli” Upshaw i bivši kubanski olimpijac Robert Alfonso.
Vrlo uspješan poduzetnik, Williams je objasnio da je Stern također diplomirao pravo i u jednom je trenutku studirao za rabina. Si se nedavno vratio iz Rumunjske, gdje je podržan Williams u svojoj borbi, u nedjelju, Kolovoz. 30 a sutradan je doživio srčani udar kod kuće u Key Westu. Prebačen je zrakom u bolnicu u Miamiju, gdje je ostao za tjedan dana prije nego je podlegao.

“Si je bio sjajan momak i dobar prijatelj. Kao menadžer, uvijek se borio za svoje boksače. Ako nikog više nije bilo briga, Si stalo; ako oni to ne mogu, Si bi to učinio. Skoro sam bila s njim 10 godine i nitko nam nije bacao novac. Bilo nam je teško. Dovoljno sam novca zaradio samo u nekoliko borbi, kao kad sam osvojio naslov svjetskog prvaka, gdje je uzimao bilo kakav novac. Da ti je Si leđa, on bi išao u rat s vama.
“On bi voziti iz Key Westa u Miami da me vidi, ali, umjesto boravka noći, da bih voziti natrag. On bi me zovu me zvati 10 puta dok se vozio kući. Bio je tako sretan što mi je dao promotivni ugovor (AK Promocije u Koreji) i stvarno se veselimo mojoj borbi listopada 4th u Koreji. Posvećujem tu borbu Siju i učinit ćemo nešto posebno.”

Williams je upravljao Stern za prošlošću 11 godine i imali su poseban odnos. Zajedno su večerali u Rumunjskoj i odletjeli natrag u SAD, dolasku nedjelja, Kolovoz 30.
“Si bio puno više od mog menadžera,” Williams je ponudio. “Bio je dobar prijatelj, uvjeren sam uvijek mogao osloniti na savjet, u boksu i van njega. Si je bio svestran dobar čovjek. Mnogo smo duboko razgovarali o politici i religiji, mi biti kršćanin i Si Židov, pogotovo trošenja mnogo vremena zajedno u Rumunjskoj.
“Svi smo izgubili dobrog čovjeka u Si Sternu. Bio sam ponosan što me predstavlja Si. Nije bio u boksu zbog novca. Bio je važan dio mog života. Uvijek je bio tu za mene i sve njegove borce. Si nikada nije uzeo prečicu ili poštedio novac. Si Stern bio je najbolji menadžer kojeg sam ikad imao.”
