Neon Star Sports & Entertainment Launches New Promotional Company Knockout Night Boxing

LAS VEGAS (Februar 13, 2017) – Neon Star Sports & Zabava (NSSE) Inc. has announced the formation of its promotional company, Knockout Night Boxing LLC. The company will be responsible for promoting and co-promoting “Knockout Night Boxing,” a series that airs on CBS Sports Network across North America. Additional broadcast partners will also be announced in the coming weeks.
“Knockout Night Boxing LLC is a fight-friendly promotion that provides a platform for athletes to showcase their skills while building their own brand,” said Knockout Night Boxing president/promoter John Andersen.
“Our ‘Knockout Night at the D’ series on CBS Sports Network last year was a huge hit, and so we are excited to expand across the United States and Mexico with our partner Pepe Gomez,” added Neon Star Sports & Entertainment CEO Mike Garrow. “Trenutno, the ‘Knockout Night Boxing’ series has 20 television dates scheduled for 2017. Whit Haydon will serve as talent relations recruiter and Marvin Romero is the matchmaker. The main event was a scheduled 10-round flyweight bout between Rodriguez (20-4-1, 13 KOs) i Hajime Nagai (14-7-2, 4 KOs), of Japan. Rodriguez captured the World Boxing Organization (WBO) minimumweight title March 22, 2014 u Meksiku, by way of a 10-round technical knockout over previously unbeaten Merlito Sabillo (23-0-1), who was making his third title defense.
Rodriguez dropped IBF minimumweight title-holder Katsunari Takayama (27-6) once en route to his 12-round unanimous decision victory August 9, 2014, u Meksiku, in their unification match. Rodriguez later vacated both of his world minimumweight titles.

The other televised bout was an intriguing match-up between former WBC World super bantamweight champion Victor “Vikingo” Terrazas (37-3-1, 21 KOs) i testiran Battle- Cristian “El Rudo” Arrazola (20-11-2, 15 KOs).
The 33-year-old Terrazas, who hadn’t fought since his losing his WBC title nearly three years ago to Leo Santa Cruz, captured the vacant WBC crown in 2013, taking a 12-round split decision from fellow Mexican great Cristian Mijares. CANCUN, Meksiko / LAS VEGAS (Jun 2, 2016) — Famed promoter Pepe Gomez has partnered with Neon Star Media to bring its monthly “Cancun Boxing” series to CBS Sports Network.
