Saturday’s FIGHTNIGHT LIVE lineup is headlined by contender Alantez “SlyAza” Vulpe (24-1-1, 11 KO), who has stood out not only in the D.C. area but on the national stage as well. Fox faces an experienced foe in Nick Brinson (19-4-2, 9 KO) of upstate New York in a super middleweight contest across eight rounds. Recently named “Washington DC. Police Officer of the Year,” undefeated pro Tiara Brown (7-0) meets four-time world title challenger Angel Gladney (10-14-1, 6 KO) of South Carolina. WASHINGTON, D.C.. (Aprilie 2, 2016) – Patru-divizie campion mondial Adrien “Problema” Broner didn’t have much of a problem beating and stopping Ashley “Comoara” Theophane at 1:10 in the ninth round în evenimentul principal al această seară Premier box Campionilor (PBC) pe Spike event in front of a sold out crowd of 8,172 la the DC Armory in Washington, D.C..

Broner and Mayweather, who promotes Theophane, have been engaged in a war of words throughout the promotion. Broner challenged the 11-time world champion immediately following his victory.
“I’m a man, but at the end of the day, somebody that I look up to, someone that I admire took the chance to do an interview and talk bad about me. I’m a man – Floyd has got to see me.
“I come from nothing. I’m talking about water and Cornflakes. And I would never let a man disrespect me like that. So you gotta see me. I don’t care if we’re sparring or if we’re fighting, let’s get it on.
Mayweather did not address the comments.
In the co-feature bout of the night, neînvins Robert Paste Jr. (17-0, 14 KO) showed why he’s a rising star with a devastating KO at 2:43 în 5lea round over former world champion Mendez algenis (23-4-1, 12 KO) in a lightweight fight that finished with the crowd on their feet. Mendez got up from the knocked down but was unable to continue, forcing the referee to stop the contest.

The fight’s action picked up in the fourth when one of Davis’s punches caused a cut underneath Avila’s left eye. Davis continued his assault in the fifth when he landed a straight left hand to send Avila to the canvas. In the sixth and final round Davis came out of his corner and immediately jumped on his opponent causing the referee to halt the action.
“I knew he was a strong opponent. He kept bouncing back and I actually thought he was going to get up at the end too. He is very experienced and I thank him for taking the fight. He brought out the best in me.
“There is always room to get better and better, but this is another step toward my dream. I’m happy with my performance and it is even more special to have done it where I made my pro debut, so close to home.
“I’m happy I could get this victory for my team, Floyd Mayweather and everyone that supports me.”
“We prepared really well and think we did well,” said Avila “The cut came from a head-butt which complicated the situation for me as it didn’t let me see properly from that point forward. But it is what it is -he won. He’s good, and he hits hard.
“I appreciate everyone who was supporting me and my team. This is not the end of my career. I’m young and this is the type of sport where you just have to bounce back. We’re going to move on with our head up. There’s no other choice.”

“This is really a big fight for me. I know that Ashley Theophane is going to come to fight, because he has something to prove. He’s going to try to take my world title.

Brandon Bennett ia pe Jonathan Maicelo în 10-a rundă eveniment principal în această noapte vineri la Walter E. Washington Convention Center din Washington, DC

Washington, DC (August 25, 2015) Acest vineri seara, August 28 la Walter E. Washington Convention Center în capitala națiunii de la Washington, DC, Promoții King va prezenta o noapte spectaculoasa a box care va cuprinde unele dintre cele mai bune talente din Statele Unite ale Americii.

În evenimentul principal, Brandon Bennett (19-1, 8 Lui KO) va pătrat off cu fostul challenger titlu mondial Jonathan Maicelo (21-2, 12 Lui KO) într-un meci ușor programată pentru 10-runde.

Bennett a Cincinnati, Ohio a fost greu de formare pentru Maicelo, care a contestat o lume intermediară titlu.

“Training a fost bună. Am fost pe greutate pentru câteva zile. A fost 2 luni greu, dar partea dificilă de pregătire și dieta este de peste și eu sunt gata să lupte,” Said Bennett.

Când a fost întrebat despre Maicelo, Bennett nu a fost preocupat de adversarul său, în ciuda Maicelo având victorii peste Artă Hovhannisyan și fostul challenger titlul mondial Fernando Angulo.
