WASHINGTON, D.C. (Bulan April 2, 2016) – Four-division world champion Adrien “Masalah” Broner didn’t have much of a problem beating and stopping Ashley “Treasure” Theophane at 1:10 in the ninth round dalam acara utama malam ini Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) pada tanggal Spike event in front of a sold out crowd of 8,172 di the DC Armory in Washington, D.C.

As Broner wore his opponent down it became easier for him to overpower Theophane and finally stop him in the ninth round.
“When people fight me, they come with their ‘A’ permainan, and he came with his ‘A’ permainan. But even his ‘A’ game wasn’t enough malam ini.
“As you know, I’ve been going through a lot and for me to come in here and bottle everything up and do what I did, I want to give myself a pat on the back.”
Theophane was disappointed and didn’t agree with the stoppage.
“I thought the stoppage was premature because I thought I was in the fight. Me and Broner were going at it. It looked like he was starting to get tired because he started to move around and wasn’t able to stay there with me as much.
“I thought the fight was back and forth and I think the next four rounds would have been the same. No way should the fight have gotten stopped. It’s a shame the referee did that. I was telling the referee, ‘I’m okay, I’m okay.’ Then he waived it off. I don’t know what he was thinking.”
Broner and Mayweather, who promotes Theophane, have been engaged in a war of words throughout the promotion. Broner challenged the 11-time world champion immediately following his victory.
“I’m a man, but at the end of the day, somebody that I look up to, someone that I admire took the chance to do an interview and talk bad about me. I’m a man – Floyd has got to see me.
“I come from nothing. I’m talking about water and Cornflakes. And I would never let a man disrespect me like that. So you gotta see me. I don’t care if we’re sparring or if we’re fighting, let’s get it on.
Mayweather did not address the comments.

Mendez got up from the knocked down but was unable to continue, forcing the referee to stop the contest.

“This was a huge opportunity for me and I’m just happy I got the knockout. For what it’s worth, Saya merasa baik…at least physically I do. I’m pretty disappointed because of the way things turned out, but boxing is a difficult sport.
“I don’t have any excuses. I’m glad that I feel fine physically, that’s the most important thing right now. Robert Easter is a good fighter, he did really well and I wish him the best in his career.”

Davis continued his assault in the fifth when he landed a straight left hand to send Avila to the canvas. In the sixth and final round Davis came out of his corner and immediately jumped on his opponent causing the referee to halt the action.
“I knew he was a strong opponent. He kept bouncing back and I actually thought he was going to get up at the end too. He is very experienced and I thank him for taking the fight. He brought out the best in me.
“There is always room to get better and better, but this is another step toward my dream. I’m happy with my performance and it is even more special to have done it where I made my pro debut, so close to home.
“I’m happy I could get this victory for my team, Floyd Mayweather and everyone that supports me.”
“We prepared really well and think we did well,” said Avila “The cut came from a head-butt which complicated the situation for me as it didn’t let me see properly from that point forward. But it is what it is -he won. He’s good, and he hits hard.
“I appreciate everyone who was supporting me and my team. This is not the end of my career. I’m young and this is the type of sport where you just have to bounce back. We’re going to move on with our head up. There’s no other choice.”

Another rising prospect at just 21-years-old, Harris has stayed busy since turning pro in June 2014 with a first-round stoppage of George Palmer. Most recently the Hyattsville, Maryland born fighter picked up victories over Irvin Hernandez, Rafael Vazquez, Carlos Acevedo and Sean Lockhart in 2015.

Washington, DC (Bulan Agustus 26, 2015) Jumat ini malam, Bulan Agustus 28 pada Walter E. Washington Convention Center, di ibukota negara dari Washington, DC, Raja Promosi akan hadir malam spektakuler tinju yang akan menampilkan beberapa bakat terbaik di Amerika Serikat.
Dalam acara utama, Brandon Bennett (19-1, 8 KO) akan ancang-ancang dengan mantan penantang gelar juara dunia Jonathan Maicelo (21-2, 12 KO) dalam pertarungan Ringan dijadwalkan untuk 10-putaran.
Maicelo dari Callao, Peru, tapi sekarang tinggal di North Bergen, New Jersey hanya tujuh bulan dihapus dari menantang Darleys Perez untuk Interim kejuaraan WBA Ringan. Hilangnya dalam laga yang telah membuat Maicelo bahkan lapar dan ia mencari upaya besar pada hari Jumat malam untuk menempatkan dia segera kembali di contention untuk gelar juara dunia.
“Pelatihan telah besar dan saya termotivasi Super,” Kata Maicelo.
Dia tahu dia akan berjuang seorang pria tangguh di Bennett dan memiliki pujian untuk asli Cincinnati.
“Saya menghormati setiap tempur. Saya telah melihat beberapa perkelahian di tape dan ia adalah pejuang yang baik dari apa yang saya lihat. Dengan itu dikatakan, Saya lebih baik tempur dan pada hari Jumat, Saya akan membuktikan bahwa.”
Maicelo berjuang pertarungan yang bagus melawan Perez tapi datang hanya singkat. Dia mengambil positif dari pengalaman itu yang akan menjadi faktor besar dalam perjuangan pada Jumat malam.
“Meskipun aku kalah Perez, Saya menganggapnya sebagai pengalaman belajar yang besar. Saya belajar banyak dan Jumat, Ini akan menunjukkan. Aku hanya di kamp dengan Danny Garcia dan saya telah termotivasi yang super.”
Maicelo tidak seorang pejuang yang ingin dilindungi dan babied untuk kembali ke pertengkaran, dia ingin mendapatkannya dengan memerangi kualitas oposisi.
“Memerangi orang seperti Bennett adalah perkelahian yang saya inginkan. Saya ingin menunjukkan bahwa saya bisa mengalahkan orang-orang dengan catatan yang baik. Saya membayangkan bahwa ia merasakan hal yang sama. Saya yakin dia tahu bahwa saya tidak pushover dan bahwa ia berada dalam untuk pertarungan yang sulit.”
Itu 32 tahun adalah teguh bahwa berada di 12 ronde pertarungan perebutan gelar keras akan membuat semua perbedaan, Jumat.

Robert Paskah (14-0, 11 KO) Toledo, OH akan mengambil Osumanu Akaba (32-8-1, 25 KO) Accra, Ghana bernama dalam pertarungan Ringan.

Dalam acara utama, Brandon Bennett (19-1, 8 KO) akan ancang-ancang dengan mantan penantang gelar juara dunia Jonathan Maicelo (21-2, 12 KO) dalam pertarungan Ringan dijadwalkan untuk 10-putaran.

Bennett dari Cincinnati, Ohio telah berlatih keras untuk Maicelo, yang telah menantang untuk gelar juara dunia interim.

“Pelatihan telah baik. Aku berada di berat badan selama beberapa hari. Telah 2 bulan keras tapi bagian yang sulit dari pelatihan dan diet berakhir dan saya siap untuk melawan,” kata Bennett.

Ketika ditanya tentang Maicelo, Bennett tidak peduli dengan lawannya, meskipun Maicelo memiliki menang atas Art Hovhannisyan dan mantan penantang gelar juara dunia Fernando Angulo.

“Dia adalah seorang pejuang ortodoks. Ia suka datang dan dia suka untuk melawan pukulan. Dia mungkin telah berjuang untuk merebut gelar, tapi saya pejuang yang lebih berpengalaman. Saya telah berjuang orang baik dan saya mendapatkan perdebatan terbaik. Semua itu tidak masalah, karena pada akhir hari, kita harus melawan. ”

Bennett menyadari bahwa kemenangan atas Maicelo akan mendorong dia sangat dekat dengan pertarungan untuk gelar juara dunia dan menang pada hari Jumat akan memberinya kemenangan kualitas lain untuk menambah resume.

“Mudah-mudahan di laga berikutnya atau dua, Saya akan berada dalam posisi. Mengalahkan dia seharusnya saya dianggap sebagai pesaing utama.”

Jika itu terjadi, Bennett akan bergabung rekan gym dan teman-teman dekat, Adrien Broner dan Rau'Shee Warren sebagai pejuang berikutnya dari pelatih, Mike Stafford Cincinnati gym untuk memperjuangkan gelar juara dunia. Bennett mendapat kelas dunia perdebatan dan saran setiap hari dari Broner, juara dunia tiga divisi dan Warren, tiga kali di luar AS. Olympian dan gelar juara dunia penantang.

Tiga tak terpisahkan selama dua dekade

“Aku masuk ke tinju pada usia delapan. Saya adalah seorang pemain sepak bola. Rau'shee tinggal di jalan dari saya dan meminta saya untuk berjalan ke gym dengan dia. Dia sudah pernah tinju dan Mike Stafford meminta kami untuk spar. Dia mendapat yang terbaik dari saya hari itu tapi saya terjebak dengan itu. Ironisnya, Adrien datang di hari berikutnya dan mulai tinju pada hari berikutnya dan Rau'shee berdebat dengan dia juga. Berada di sekitar mereka pasti inspirasi. Aku melihat apa yang teman-teman saya telah dilakukan dan dicapai dan aku tahu aku akan sebelah memiliki orang-orang penghargaan.”
