Granite Chin Promotion presents Thanksgiving Eve show “Championship Boxing at The Armory”

Many of New England’s most talented and popular boxers will still be in action this Wednesday evening. We’re limited here because of the required purse (for the defending champion to come to the states) and sanctioning fees for promoters in America. Women’s boxing is more popular in Europe, Mexico and parts of South America. But I have had a very good run and great relationships with New England promoters, who’ve put me on their cards.

Derek Silveira making up for lost time Headlining “Fight Night at the Bay”

The 31-year-old Silveira fought for a long time with bones spurs in his right elbow. He underwent surgery and later went to training camp in Las Vegas for a fight that, למרבה הצער, fell through. לאחר מכן, as a worker for a moving company, he fell through steps, resulting in torn labrum in his left hip. It took a terribly frustrating 1 ½ years for his insurance company to finally approve the operation, which was followed, כמובן, by a lengthy therapy program.
