This effort prompted Officer Pete Camacho to create “Rumble in Rio,” and allowed the Jim Franklin Bike Giveaway Program to expand and provide more bicycles to more kids. So began the tradition of “Cops and Firefighters Fighting for the Kids”.

“The Rumble in Rio Board now includes members from multiple public safety agencies from New Mexico,” said Andrew Garcia, President of Rumble in Rio. “Our fighters are EMTs, Police Officers, Corrections Officers and Firefighters from around the state and have represented dozens of departments.”

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (Februari 15, 2016) – The second annual World MMA Association (WMMAA) Pan-American Congress, recently held at The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was a major success by all standards.

“The Pan-American Movement”, as it was named, brought together sports, pariwisata, and education for a common goal with more than 12 participating countries.

The Congress provided a rare opportunity for the entire WMMAA Pan-American family to collaborate with special partnerships like The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce dan The Mexico Consulate in Albuquerque, University of New Mexico Global Education Department. PANAM Members, representatives of National Federations, Commissions, Association and the Organizing Committee of the WMMAA Pan-American Championship (OCPC), as well as athletes, pelatih, media, sponsors and other stakeholders to meet and discuss issues of importance to the entire MMA movement.

In his closing speech to the Congress, Pan-American Division President Tomas Yu paid tribute to the excellent collaboration between Pan-American members.

“If you asked me to sprawl a couple of times, I would most definitely need some nitro coffee from Villa Myriam before I run out of breath, followed by the guaranteed use of Sore No More,” Yu mengatakan. “But when it comes to fighting for our youth, for our MMA global goals – for cleaner competition, for a healthier, more peaceful and more flourishing SPORT – I will sprawl-jab-cross-kick like a champion. I will sprint the steepest trail in the Sandia Mountains. I will never stop until we raise our hands by victory. I am counting and exhorting all involved in the MMA industry to join us. We must go for the KO.”

Over the course of the three-day Congress and 13-day PANAM Camp, there were special guest such as Legacy Champion Damacio Halaman, former UFC champion Jon “Tulang” Jones dan Carlos Condit. Participants heard from many respected speakers such as Health Committee Director Curt Chavez from eVOLV Strong, Hector Molina, Director of PANAM Regulatory Committee and Director of PANAM Medical Committee, Dr. Justo Pavia. The congress had interesting discussions on the following themes: atlet, 2016 Expo MMA, structure of the “WMMAA Pan-American Movement”, global officials’ license and database, new era of Digital Sports Marketing Revolution, dan 2016 Kejuaraan Pan-Amerika.

Each day was divided in two general sessions with a half-day devoted to Rules and Regulations discussions for PANAM. The plenary sessions were followed by three simultaneous breakout sessions on respective sub-themes.

All sessions were live-cast over the internet to allow the general public to hear discussions as it happened.

Two sessions began with presentations from a panel of speakers. The moderators of each panel were then responsible for the ensuing discussion period, which gave participants an opportunity to voice their opinions on issues. The main points from each session were carefully recorded by“ENLACE” – the new exclusive WMMAA correspondent program – to inform the Editorial Committee of the discussions at the end of each day. The final document reflected the main ideas to come out of the proceedings in Albuquerque, as well as information collected through the virtual WMMAA Pan-American Congress, allowing the WMMAA Pan-American family and public to submit written contributions.

The mission of the 2016 WMMAA Pan-American Congress was to bring together sports, tourism and education for a united front and review the status of the WMMAA PANAM Movement in today’s evolving global society. Information was gathered and opinions sought regarding its future, in addition to providing structure, guidance, proposals and recommendations to all constituents and other stakeholders of the WMMAA PANAM Movement for its structured showcase and harmonious development within the global youth community.

Philadelphia, PA (Bulan Januari 27 2015)–Sabtu ini malam di 2300 Arena, terkalahkan kelas menengah Kyrone Davis akan mengambil veteran Jonathan Garcia dalam 6 putaran pertarungan pada acara dipromosikan oleh Raja Promosi.

Acara utama akan melihat terkalahkan Prichard Colon (12-0, 10 KO) dari Orocovis, Puerto Rico mengambil Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO) Albuquerque, New Mexico di 8 putaran Jr. Melawan menengah.

Davis dari Wilmington, Delaware memiliki rekor 5-0 dengan tiga KO dan mantan menonjol amatir gembira tentang perjuangannya Sabtu ini.

“Pelatihan berjalan lancar. Saya tahu bahwa Garcia adalah seorang pria tahan lama yang telah berjuang kompetisi yang baik. Tujuan saya pada hari Sabtu adalah untuk mengenakan baik, kinerja bersih. Tidak mendapatkan memukul dan memberikan semua acara yang baik untuk laga pertama saya di Philly,”kata 20 Davis tahun.

Davis 91-9 sebagai seorang amatir, yang memenangi dua turnamen Nasional PAL dan berkompetisi dalam uji coba Olimpiade menantikan debutnya lokal.

“Bahkan tahu aku lahir di New Jersey dan tinggal di Delaware, Saya melatih di Philadelphia. Saya belum berjuang di sini profesional dan saya datang kembali untuk menunjukkan kepada semua orang apa yang saya lakukan. Saya akan berjuang cerdas dan mendorong sistem gugur. Aku hanya ingin menjadi pro besar.”

“Saya bersemangat dan telah dimasukkan ke dalam banyak pekerjaan jalan. Saya memiliki tim yang hebat dengan pelatih saya Stephen Edwards. Ini adalah kamp terpanjang kami telah sebagai aku harus bertarung pada bulan Desember dan pergi itu tidak terjadi, Kami tinggal pelatihan. Saya dalam bentuk terbaik. Philadelphia, PA (Bulan Januari 26, 2015)–Sabtu ini malam di 2300 Arena, terkalahkan super bantam Stephen “Skuter” Fulton akan terlihat untuk tetap sempurna ketika ia mengambil Eric Gotay dalam 4 putaran pertarungan pada acara dipromosikan oleh Raja Promosi.

Acara utama akan melihat terkalahkan Prichard Colon (12-0, 10 KO) dari Orocovis, Puerto Rico mengambil Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO) Albuquerque, New Mexico di 8 putaran Jr. Melawan menengah.

Fulton of Philadelphia memiliki rekor 3-0 dengan 1 KO dan dia memiliki sebuah kamp yang baik saat ia mempersiapkan untuk 2 penampilan kampung berturut-turut nya.

“Semuanya telah besar. Saya telah bekerja pada kekuatan dan pengkondisian. Saya telah mendapatkan pekerjaan pad besar dan pelatih saya telah mendorong saya sangat keras. Kami mencari untuk melawan 6-putaran tapi saya mempersiapkan lebih,”kata 20 Fulton tahun.

Fulton telah mencoba mencari tahu tentang Gotay tetapi hanya ditemukan sangat sedikit informasi tentang lawannya.

“Satu-satunya hal yang saya benar-benar tahu tentang dia adalah bahwa ia memiliki lengan panjang dan dia suka untuk menusuk.”

Fulton, yang membuat debut Philadelphia dengan keputusan bulat 4 putaran atas Benjamin Burgos di Bulan Desember 5 menikmati kampung halamannya tetapi ia lebih memilih untuk bertarung di luar kota.

“Saya menikmati berjuang pergi dari sini. Ada lebih banyak tekanan pertempuran rumah, tapi saya sangat fokus.”

Tekanan yang ada baru untuk Fulton sebagai amatir dihiasi adalah juara Sarung tangan Nasional Perak, juara Ringside dan berkompetisi di World Series of tinju di mana ia pergi 2-1.

Fulton telah dipuji oleh beberapa sebagai bintang masa depan tinju dan dia ingin untuk menarik para penggemar.

“Saya ingin memastikan orang melihat saya dan menikmati gaya bertarung saya. Banyak orang akan melihat saya pada akhir tahun dan mudah-mudahan saya bisa mendapatkan beberapa waktu televisi.
