HOLLYWOOD, KALIFORNIE. (Leden 27, 2017) – A lightweight feature bout pitting Josh Thomson (22-8, 1 NC) proti Patricky "Pitbull" (16-8) will serve as the co-main event of Bellator 172 v SAP Center v San Jose, Kalif. Únor. 18.

The contest joins a stacked main card that includes a pair of heavyweight competitors featuring Fedor Emelianenko (36-4, 1 NC) proti Matt Mitrione(11-5) in the main event and Cheick Kongo (25-10-2) proti Byl to Thompson (17-9) in main card action. Kyra Batara vs. Vanesa Rico Fernandez

The 4-foot-11, 22-year-old Batara of Las Vegas, Nevada. has been unstoppable in La Jaula, klec Combate Americas, winning all three of her matchups, including a second round (4:13) TKO of Jenny „Phoenix“ Silverio that Batara produced in an unprecedented manner – a ground and pound assault with Silverio locked in a “twister,” the patented submission move created by Batara’s famed mentor, Eddie Bravo.

The 5-foot-10, 26-year-old Sanchez of Sacramento, Kalif. is an explosive finisher who will enter La Jaula for the third time in his career, on a three-fight winning streak.

The 5-foot-10, 35-year-old Hernandez of Santa Rosa, Kalif. will seek his first win under the Combate Americas banner, and attempt to stop a three-fight skid.

After turning professional just two years ago at age 33, Hernandez cruised to victory in his first four bouts, defeating three of his opponents by way of submission and the fourth by way of TKO.

New York, NY, Leden 24, 2017 - 1.85 million viewers tuned in for the final fight in Tito Ortiz’s storied career, a first round submission victory over Chael Sonnen. This marks the most watched Bellator fight on Spike since last February and the most watched MMA fight on television in 2017.

Bellator 173: McGeary vs. Fields

Hailing from Andover, Anglie, the 34-year-old Liam McGeary (11-1) will make the short trek up to Northern Ireland’s capital for the first time in his career, where he will once again compete in a main event. The former Bellator MMA light heavyweight champion will enter the cage for the 10thtime under the Scott Coker-led promotion, where he has posted an 8-1 record with seven finishes. Following an 11-fight winning streak to begin his professional career, McGeary finally experienced the sour taste of defeat, když Phil Davis wrestled the title away from him at Bellator 163. McGeary has consistently proven to be one of the most dangerous strikers and submission artists in the 205-pound division, finishing his victim in 10 na 11 kariéry vyhraje, including eight in the opening frame. Hailing from nearby Straban, Irsko, 20-letý James Gallagher (5-0) is one of the brightest stars in all “The Emerald Island.” At age 15, “The Strabanimal” moved away from home to join Coach John Kavanagh at Straight Blast Gym (SBG), where he now trains alongside the best fighters in the country including Connor McGregor. Having made his Bellator debut in London this past July in London, Gallagher followed up in December with a submission victory over Anthony Taylor in front of a raucous home crowd at the 3Arena in Dublin. Gallagher now takes on Kirill Medvedovsky (7-3) in the co-main event of the evening.

 

Another top prospect from the famed SBG powerhouse, Sinead Kavanaghová (4-0) returns to the Bellator cage against 32-year-old Parisian Iona Razafiarison (1-1, 1 NC) in a 140-pound catchweight matchup “KO” Kavanagh, who fights out of nearby Dublin Ireland will no doubt be looking to collect her third knockout on Únor 24.

 

BAMMA 28: Parke Vs. Redmond

“Stormin” Norman Parke (22-5-1) from Bushmills, Antrim is no stranger to BAMMA events, as he has been spotted numerous times cornering team mates as part of the Next Gen Northern Ireland fight team. One of Europe’s most sought after free agents prior to putting pen to paper with BAMMA, Parke now goes in pursuit of the coveted BAMMA World Lightweight title.

Paul “Redser” Redmond (11-6) landed a victorious homecoming of his own at BAMMA 26, as Redser took out the double tough Chris “The Menace” Stringer to claim the adulation of his hometown support. Redmond now steps into one of the biggest fights ever announced in Ireland, as he takes on Parke in this hugely anticipated match up.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusko (Leden 19, 2017) – M-1 Global oznámila, že 2016 M-1 GP middleweight mistr Alexander “Bouře” Shlemenko vůle titulek M-1 Challenge 75 v Moskvě.
Bylo také oznámeno, že americká Lehká Keon “The Black Assassin” Caldwell učiní svou M-1 Global debutovat oproti bývalé M-1 Challenge lehké šampion Maxim Divnich.
M-1 Challenge 75 will be streamed live from Moscow in high definition on www.M1Global.TV. Diváci budou mít možnost sledovat předběžné bojuje a hlavní kartu přihlášení k registraci na www.M1Global.TV. Fanoušci mohou sledovat veškeré dění na svých počítačích, stejně jako na Android a Apple chytré telefony a tablety.
Shlemenko (54-9-0. 1 NC, M-1: 4-0-0), trojnásobný mistr Bellator, porazil bývalého M-1 Challenge šampion Vyacheslav Vasilevsky (viz obrázek výše s Shlemenko na pravé) loni v M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight šampionátu semifinále a finále mistrovství, příslušně, třemi celý rozhodovací většiny a třetím kole předkládání (sytič). Shlemenko vs. Vasilevskij I & II byly M-1 Challenge 68 & 64 Boje Noci.
V mnohem-očekávalo Všeruského middleweight zúčtování, Shlemenko měl bojovat panujícího M-1 Challenge middleweight mistr Ramadan Emeev, který byl bohužel zranil během tréninkového kempu, nutit jej ven z tohoto zápasu. Vasilevskij nahradil Emeev proti Shlemenko v mistrovství finále.
Ve své poslední akce, Shlemenko zastavil Kendall Grove Ve druhém kole jejich hlavní boje událostí na Bellator 162 loni v říjnu v Memphisu, Tennessee.
