Atlantic City, Nueva Jersey (Enero 30, 2017)–Thomas “Copo de maíz” LaManna looked sharp as he pitched a shutout, and won a 8-round unanimous decision over Eduardo Flores in front of a capacity crowd at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The fight was the 6th consecutive sellout crowd at the venue under the Rising Promotions banner.

LaManna used his length, and was effective with his jab as he set up solid body work with both hands and came upstairs to befuddle the 53-fight veteran.

LaManna settled into a groove in the middle rounds, and showed confidence in his punches. LaManna did a nice job mixing up his boxing and his willingness to trade on the inside, for which he got the better of the action on both accounts.
“I felt great being back in the ring. My last fight definitely taught me a lot about myself and what I could do, and I used it in this fight. This guy is tough man, I had him hurt quite a few times with both body and head shots but he somehow survived,” dijo LaManna.

Michael Mitchell scored an upset by out-hustling Chuck Mussachio over 6-rounds of their light heavyweight bout, and gaining a majority decision victory.

Mitchell buckled and wobbled Mussachio, who was on the defensive throughout the contest. Mussachio was able to land an occasional jab and uppercut, but Mitchell swarmed the popular “Profesor” as he was relentless in smothering and battering Mussachio against the ropes.

Mitchell, de Paterson, New Jersey won by scores of 60-53, 58-56 and one card read even at 57-57.

Mitchell is 4-7-2. Mussachio de Wildwood, NJ es 19-4-2.

Gabriel Pham scored a sensational 2nd round stoppage over Jose Valderrama in a scheduled 6-round super middleweight bout.

Pham landed a perfect left that sent Valdrrama thudding to the canvas. Valderrama got up but the bout was waved off a 2:50.

Pham of Pleasantville, NJ es 7-1 con 3 nocauts. Valderrama of Manati, PR es 5-18.

yurik Mamedov remained perfect by stopping pro debuting Jose Jimenez in round two of their scheduled 4-round welterweight bout.

Mamedov scored 2 knockdowns in round two and the bout was stopped upon the 2nd knockdown at 2:59 de la segunda ronda.

Nahir Albright won a 4-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Dan Murray in a junior welterweight bout.

Mussachio (19-3-2, 5 Nocáuts) of Wildwood, NJ adquiere Michael Mitchell (3-7-2, 1 KO) de Paterson, NJ in a light heavyweight bout, while Pham (6-1, 2 Nocáuts) de Pleasantville, Batallas de NJ Jose Valderrama (5-17, 3 Nocáuts) de Manatí, Puerto Rico in a super middleweight bout.
Mussachio, who won a unanimous decision over Willis Lockett last 27 de mayo. That nout was his first bout after a three-plus year off.
“I tried to get away from boxing, but something brought me back,” said Mussachio. “I am happy to be on a card back in Atlantic City.”
This will be Mussachio’s 17th fight in Atlantic City.
Pham is on the rebound following his loss to Christopher Brooker on Last 9 de julio in Trenton, Nueva Jersey.
Like most fighters, Pham chalked up the loss to Brooker as a learning experience.

The card is promoted by Rising Promotions

“Flores has been in with numerous world champions,” said LaManna of Flores, who has competed with the likes of Kermit Cintron Carlos Baldomir and Diego Chaves. “He is a rugged veteran, and has only been stopped a handful of times, and the last time that happened, he was fighting a middleweight. He will come to fight. I am looking to one-up all the champions that he has fought.”
To do that, LaManna is looking to take a relaxed approach, and he is not going into the fight looking for a knockout.
“I believe in my boxing skills, ring generalship and I will get the job done. I plan a smart 8 rondas de boxeo. It will be exciting because it will be packed inside The Claridge. I am looking to get this win and get back to a rematch with Dusty. Even though this fight is at junior middleweight, I am a welterweight, and I want that rematch.”
“I had an amazing training camp. The loss to Harrison made me hungrier, and that has motivated me even more than before.”
This will be LaManna’s fourth appearance at the Claridge. This will be ths 6th sold-out show and LaManna’s relationship with the hotel is helping a rebirth of boxing in Atlantic City.

ATLANTIC CITY, Nueva Jersey (Marzo 21, 2016)–Este pasado Sábado noche, contendiente de peso welter, Thomas “Copo de maíz” LaManna emocionó a una multitud agotada en The Claridge en Atlantic City cuando marcó el paro en la cuarta ronda sobre Kendal Mena que destacó una tarjeta de nueve combates llena de acción.
La tarjeta fue promovida por el aumento de Promociones y Vincent M. Gulfstream Promociones de Ponte.

ATLANTIC CITY, Nueva Jersey (Marzo 18, 2016)–MAÑANA NOCHE en El hotel Claridge en Atlantic City,súper mediano Isiah Seldon regresa al ring después de un despido de 33 meses cuando desafía Michael Mitchell como parte de una tarjeta de 11 combates promovida por Rising Promotions y Vincent M. Gulfstream Promociones de Ponte.
En el evento principal, Thomas LaManna adquiere Kendal Mena en una pelea de ocho rondas de peso welter.
Seldon está ansioso por volver al ring después de mucho examen de conciencia en los últimos dos años..
“He estado trabajando y trabajando en el gimnasio.. Me he mantenido afilado pero solo necesitaba poner mi vida en orden, ” dijo Seldon. “Hemos estado buscando la pelea correcta. Me ofrecieron algunas buenas oportunidades financieras en Rusia, pero quiero hacer esto de la manera correcta. No estoy en esto por dinero.”
Seldon se siente a la edad 27, ahora es el momento de concentrarse en su carrera en el ring.
