LOWELL, Massa. (Bulan Januari 29, 2016) – For the second week in a row all 13 matches went the three-round distance in last night’s Central New England (lebih besar Lowell) semifinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, featuring open and novice class action, at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Returning New England welterweight champion Xavier Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing in Lawrence (MA), adalah 4-1 winner against Michael Fontenez, of Nashua, NH.
Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston led the hit parade with three winners, all in the novice class: ringan Jonathan Depina, kelas menengah Lipi Fernandes dan menengah Brian Lawrence. The Lowell West End Gym was the only other with more than one winner last night, both in the open class, ringan Brandon Higgins and light welterweight Jeremiah Perez.

LOWELL, Massa. (Bulan Januari 25, 2016) – Returning New England Golden Gloves welterweight champion Xavier Vega, dari Lawrence (MA), leads a host of talented open and novice class amateur boxers into this Thursday night’s (Jan. 8) in the Central New England (lebih besar Lowell) semifinals of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
The 21-year-old Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing, faces Nashua (NH) penantang Michael Fontanez in one of eight open class matches. There are also eight novice class matches scheduled.
