Here is what Jose Sanchez had to say about his recent training camp, his matchup with Strode, więcej. On his recent training: “Camp has been great. I have been very motivated and I’m ready to make showcase the latest version of myself. To drugi niepokonany zawodnik, z którym mam do czynienia w zaledwie siedmiu walkach. Myślę, że to dużo mówi o mnie w porównaniu do reszty dywizji piórkowej feather. Chcę go zatrzymać tak, jak zrobiłem mojego ostatniego niepokonanego przeciwnika, ponieważ byłoby to ważne stwierdzenie.” O robieniu jego 2021 debiut:“It is great to be back in the ring and return to action. I have been out of the ring for over a year and used my time wisely in the gym, but I also know that ring time is important at this stage in my career. I want to get a big win and return as fast as possible.” On fighting on 3.2.1 Boxing with no fans:“I want to thank Thompson Boxing for helping me so much early in my career, guiding me, building me into the fighter I am today. I love the way they treat fighters, and it feels like a family, not a company. I wouldn’t want to be with any other promoter. This will be my first time fighting with no fans so it will be interesting to see how I react. Bottom line is I’m coming to fight.” Andrew Strode gives his thoughts on his recent training camp, his matchup with Sanchez and more: On his recent training camp:“We went back to the basics and put that hard work in the gym. I am very focused for this fight. Most people don’t know, but I have defeated five undefeated fighters in my six fights. I’ve have gone on the road to do it as well. I am in the sport to fight the best and this camp has been a very good one.” On his matchup with Jose Sanchez:“Sanchez is a good fighter, I know he is smaller than me, despite fighting at higher weight classes, which I think is interesting. I have nothing bad to say about him though, he has done everything he has needed to up until this point, but I am different than anyone else he has ever fought. He will soon realize that he made a mistake taking this fight. There is nothing he can do to stop me. I’m coming out on top.” O robieniu jego 2021 debiut:“It is nice to return as I am basically coming off a two-year layoff which has been rough since my career was going really well to start. I never lost focus in the gym and this is a really big chance for me to show the world my skillset as the bout will be shown live on the internet. All my people will be tuning in and I can’t wait to let my fist fly.” On fighting in California on 3.2.1. Boks:“It is an honor to fight on a Thompson Boxing card, I watch their streams, and they’re very professional. I love what they do with keeping fans engaged in the fights, as well as showcasing up-and-coming talent. I look at fighters like Daniel Roman, i Tim Bradley, and realize they started with Thompson Boxing, so it is a big deal to be on one of their cards. Fighting in California is always nice because of the weather. This is the big time and I’m ready to go!” Beto Duran will operate as the blow-by-blow commentator with expert commentary by Doug Fischer i Steve Kim. Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KO) Stops Ruben Tamayo in the Third Round on Friday Night
PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANGE, Kalifornia. (Listopada. 18, 2018) – Junior lekka Michael Dutchover (12-0, 9 KO) closed out Thompson Boxing’s season finale in emphatic fashion by knocking out the well-tested veteran Ruben Tamayo (27-12-4, 18 KO) in the third round Friday night from the Doubletree Hotel w Ontario, Kalifornia.
Dutchover, who had turned 21 the day prior, celebrated his birthday weekend with his fifth win of the year and fourth straight knockout victory.
The West Texas-based Dutchover used his patience in the first round to learn the appropriate angles against Tamayo, who had previously been in the ring against first class talent such as Jhonatan Romero, Oscar Valdez, Joseph Diaz and Jesus Cuellar.
In the third, Dutchover unlocked his power with a left hook to the body that stunned and forced Tamayo to take a knee. After Tamayo beat the count, Dutchover attacked and landed a right onto the midsection, which dropped Tamayo once again.
Referee Lou Moret immediately waived off the fight at the 2:15 znak.
“I feel like I’m growing into a better fighter with each and every fight,” said Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Banner Promocje i Thompson Boks. “I took my time in the first round, but then my corner advised me to start letting my hands go and I got the knockout win. I’m looking forward to another great year in 2019.”

Michael Dutchover Looks to Close out 2018 With Another Win
PHILADELPHIA, PENN. / ORANGE, Kalifornia. (Październik. 29, 2018) – The fast-rising Michael Dutchover (11-0, 8 KO), with four solid wins on the year, aims to close out 2018 with another victory on Piątek, Listopada. 16, z Doubletree Hotel w Ontario, Kalifornia.
Dutchover, który zmieni 21 the day before the event, will fight veteran and former world title challenger Daulis Prescott (31-9, 24 KO) in the 8-round main event of Thompson Boxing’s “Locked n’ Loaded” season finale.
Dutchover, a junior lightweight fighting out of Midland, Tex., has had a breakout year of sorts with his recent display of power punching. His last three wins have come by way of knockout, including a sensational second round, one-punch destruction of Sergio Martinez in July.
Wcześniej, the West Texas warrior, który trenuje w Los Angeles, removed Mike Fowler in three rounds. Two months ago in September, Dutchover stopped Bergman Aguilar in the fifth.
Dutchover, jednak, understands the Colombian-born Prescott poses a far more serious challenge than any other foe he has faced this year, or in his young career.
“This year was all about elevating my level of competition,” said Dutchover, who is promoted by industry veterans Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing .”Prescott is battle tested and will be ready to fight. I love a challenge and I’m embracing it.”
Dutchover’s confidence is a direct result of the high-level sparring he receives on a routine basis from the many top-notch gyms in the Los Angeles area.
“I’ve been in with some of the top names in the sport and they all teach me something different,” Dutchover said. “Danny Roman, Oscar Valdez and Jessie Magdaleno are a few that come to mind. They are incredible boxers and good people too. I’m fortunate to have met them this early in my career.”
All fights will be live streamed on via our Facebook strona.
The livestream starts at 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET with Beto Duran as the blow-by-blow announcer and Josesito Lopez providing expert, color commentary.

“Once I started letting my hands go, that’s when things started opening up,” said Dutchover, który jest promowany przez Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing. “In the third round I turned up the pace. By the fourth everything started to click. I rocked him with some body shots and got a knockdown. I knew he was getting tired. Michael Dutchover Learning from WBA World Champion Danny Roman
Filadelfia, Penn. / Pomarańczowy, Kalifornia. (Siedem. 18, 2018) – Junior lekka Michael Dutchover (10-0, 7 KO) has been receiving a priceless education in the lead up to his main event showdown with Bergman Aguilar (14-3-1, 4 KO) to Piątek night from the Doubletree Hotel w Ontario, Kalifornia.
Dutchover, 20, has been sparring with reigning WBA super bantamweight champion Danny Roman w Los Angeles. The unbeaten prospect dishes on his relationship with Roman, his new found culinary skills, and what the fans in attendance and on the LiveStream can expect from the surging prospect this Friday night.
Bilety na “Nowa krew” są w cenie $40, $60, & $100, and are available for purchase by calling 714-935-0900, or online at ThompsonBoxing.com.
You were originally scheduled to face Luis Lopez, but he dropped out last week due to illness. The replacement fighter is Bergman Aguilar of Nicaragua. How do you stay focused on what you need to do to win?
“It’s one of those things that happens in boxing, especially to young guys like myself. I don’t let it affect me. I have a new guy in front of me. That’s how I view it. He’s in my way in what I want to accomplish, which is to win a world title. He’s not going to stop me from getting to that point.”
You’ve been sparring with WBA champion Danny Roman. What’s it like to learn from one of the best?
“Every single time I spar with Danny I learn something new. He’s a skillful fighter. A very smart boxer. I love working with him. I’m happy to have him in my corner. He helps me how to think through my punches. He talks to me after we spar and we go over things. It’s great to learn from a world champion.”
If boxing wasn’t a career option for you, what would you get yourself into? We hear you’re developing new culinary skills.
“I love everything related to fitness and nutrition. So I think I’d go the nutritionist route or study to become a physical trainer. I’m already learning a lot about nutrition. I cook my own meals. I do my own meal prep. I’m eating a lot of lean meats and vegetables and making them taste great. I get down in the kitchen. I’m learning how to cook on the fly and it’s great. When I go back home to Midland [Teksas] to cook for my family, they come away very impressed.”
How do you expect to perform on Friday night?
“From when the first bell rings, I’m going to fight my fight. I’m not shooting for a knockout, but if it’s there, Wezmę to. I’m in peak shape right now. Come Friday, it’s showtime.”
Dutchover is promoted by Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing.
The livestream starts at 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET with Beto Duran as the blow-by-blow announcer and Steve Kim providing expert, color commentary.
