Rochester, NY (Bulan Agustus 29, 2017) – Promoter Mercedes Vazquez-Simmons is the recipient of the Lo Mejor de lo Nuestro Award.
The award, which is presented by the Ibero American Action League, is given to an individual who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to both community and the community at large for her contributions, leadership skills and ability to work well with all individuals and groups in her hometown of Rochester, New York.
Nona, Simmons was recognized for her Pretty Girl Promotions, what it has meant to the city of Rochester ans her ability to work with members of the community from various backgrounds and professions.

Charlotte, NC (Bulan Oktober 24, 2016) -Kelas bantam tak terkalahkan Rosalinda Rodriguez won the NABF Bantamweight title with an eight-round unanimous decision over Noemi Bosques in a bout that took place last Wednesday night pada Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The bout headlined a card promoted by Hall of Famer, Christy Martin and Pretty Girl Promotions’ Mercedes Vazquez Simmons.
It was an exciting toe-to-toe fight that saw Rodriguez win every round and took home the decision by scores of 80-72 pada semua kartu.
