Läsning, PA (December 27, 2017) – Kungens Promotions är glada att tillkännage undertecknandet av förre VM-titel utmanare José “chelo” González till en PR-kontrakt.
González, 34 av Toa Baja, Puerto Rico har ett register över 24-2 med 19 knockouts.
González vann sin första 19 anfall med segrar över Osenohan Vázquez (1-0), Eric Cruz (5-1-2), Hector Marengo (5-0-4) & Edgardo Soto (12-2). 
På Juni 3, 2011, González vann WBO Latino lätta titeln med en 6: e omgången stopp över Gerardo Cuevas.
González gjorde fem framgångsrika försvar innan utmanande WBO mästare Lätt värld Ricky Burns maj 11, 2013.
González regerade att skjutningen och på god väg att bli en världsmästare innan såra hans handled och pension från matchen efter den 10: e omgången.
González återhämtade sig genom att återvinnande WBO Latino lätta titeln och försvara den med en 5: e omgången stopp över Marvin Quintero (26-5).
González kommer att se att komma tillbaka efter en två och ett halvt år uppsägningar.

Santa Fe Springs, SÅSOM–NABA Lightweight champion Petr Petrov (36-4-2, 17 KO: s) has been training hard for his big showdown with NABF Lightweight champion Marvin Quintero (28-6, 24 KO: s) that will take place on Fredag, Maj 6 vid Den Toshiba Plaza, adjacent to the state-of-the-art T-Mobile Arena. The Toshiba Plaza är located on the Las Vegas Strip between New York-New York and Monte Carlo.
Petrov took time out from his busy training schedule at the Santa Springs Boxing Club in Sante Fe, California to provide the following comments as he gets ready for this big opportunity:
“Camp går bra. We have had eight great weeks sparring. This is the best training camp I have had in all of my camps. 
On Quintero:
“He is a good boxer. He is a southpaw who has a lot of experience. He is a slick fighter, but I am experienced as well, and I am ready for anything.”
“This will get us the NABF title and get me ranked in the WBC, so this is the next step to getting closer to a world title.”
“It’s a big event weekend. We know there there will be a lot of media and fight fans there. I am a fan friendly fighter, and it comes down to putting on a great show in front of all the boxing people in attendance.”

Med 36 victories under his belt, lightweight contender Petr “Zar” Petrov holds an impressive boxing resume, included winning ESPN’s 2014 Boxcino Lightweight tournament. Petrov was last seen in April 2015 taking on former world champion Gamaliel “Platano” Diaz where he successfully defended his NABO and NABA Lightweight Titles via unanimous decision. As the current NABA Lightweight Title holder, Petrov will be looking to add another notable title to his name when he faces Quintero on May 6th.
