Čitanje, PA (Prosinac 27, 2017) – Kraljevi Promocije sa zadovoljstvom najavljuje potpisivanje bivši svjetski naslov izazivača José “Chelo” González promotivni ugovor.
González, 34 Toa Baja, Portoriko ima rekord od 24-2 s 19 miševa.
González je osvojio svoj prvi 19 Borbe s pobjeda nad Osenohan Vázquez (1-0), Eric Cruz (5-1-2), Hector Marengo (5-0-4) & Edgardo Soto (12-2). 
Lipnja 3, 2011, González osvojio WBO Latino Lagan naslov sa 6. kolo prekida preko Gerardo Cuevas.
González je napravio pet uspješnih obrana pred izazovnim WBO Lagana svjetski prvak Ricky Burns svibnja 11, 2013.
González je dominirao na tu borbu i na dobrom putu da postane svjetski prvak prije ozlijedio zapešće i povučen iz borbe nakon 10. kola.
González oporavio ponovnim osvajanjem WBO Latino Lagan naslov i brani sa 5. kola prekida preko Marvin Quintero (26-5).
González će biti u potrazi za vratiti nakon godinu dana otpuštanja dva i pol.
González naveo: “I am very happy with this new chapter in my career. I am returning to the ring with plenty of excitement and with the same dedication I have always had. I thank Marshall and King’s Promotions for the opportunity and I have no doubt that together we will return to a world title.”

Santa Fe Springs, KAO ŠTO–NABA Lightweight champion Petr Petrov (36-4-2, 17 KO-a) has been training hard for his big showdown with NABF Lightweight champion Marvin Quintero (28-6, 24 KO-a) that will take place on Petak, Svibanj 6 na The Toshiba Plaza, adjacent to the state-of-the-art T-Mobile Arena. The Toshiba Plaza je located on the Las Vegas Strip between New York-New York and Monte Carlo.
Petrov took time out from his busy training schedule at the Santa Springs Boxing Club in Sante Fe, California to provide the following comments as he gets ready for this big opportunity:
“Kamp će super. We have had eight great weeks sparring. This is the best training camp I have had in all of my camps. 
On Quintero:
“He is a good boxer. He is a southpaw who has a lot of experience. He is a slick fighter, but I am experienced as well, and I am ready for anything.”
“This will get us the NABF title and get me ranked in the WBC, so this is the next step to getting closer to a world title.”
“It’s a big event weekend. We know there there will be a lot of media and fight fans there. I am a fan friendly fighter, and it comes down to putting on a great show in front of all the boxing people in attendance.”

S 36 victories under his belt, lightweight contender Petr “Zar” Petrov holds an impressive boxing resume, included winning ESPN’s 2014 Boxcino Lightweight tournament. Petrov was last seen in April 2015 taking on former world champion Gamaliel “Platano” Diaz where he successfully defended his NABO and NABA Lightweight Titles via unanimous decision. As the current NABA Lightweight Title holder, Petrov will be looking to add another notable title to his name when he faces Quintero on May 6th.
