Ανάγνωση, PA (Δεκέμβριος 27, 2017) – Προώθηση του βασιλιά είναι στην ευχάριστη θέση να ανακοινώσει την υπογραφή του πρώην αμφισβητίας παγκόσμιου τίτλου Χοσέ “Chelo” González σε ένα διαφημιστικό συμβόλαιο.
González, 34 της Toa Baja, Πουέρτο Ρίκο έχει ένα ρεκόρ 24-2 με 19 knockouts.
González κέρδισε το πρώτο του 19 περιόδους με νίκες επί Osenohan Vázquez (1-0), Eric Cruz (5-1-2), Hector Marengo (5-0-4) & Edgardo Soto (12-2). 
Τον Ιούνιο 3, 2011, González κέρδισε τον τίτλο WBO λατίνο ελαφρύ με ένα 6ο γύρο διακοπή πάνω από τον Gerardo Cuevas.
González έκανε πέντε επιτυχημένες άμυνες πριν προκλητική WBO Lightweight παγκόσμιος πρωταθλητής Ricky Burns τον Μάιο 11, 2013.
González κυριαρχούσε εκείνη την περίοδο και καλά στο δρόμο του να γίνει παγκόσμιος πρωταθλητής πριν από τον τραυματισμό στον καρπό του και να αποσυρθεί από την περίοδο μετά το 10ο γύρο.
González ανέκαμψε από την εκ νέου κατάκτηση του τίτλου WBO λατίνο ελαφρύ και υπερασπίζεται με μια 5ο γύρο διακοπή πάνω από Μάρβιν Quintero (26-5).
González θα πρέπει να ψάχνει για να επανέλθει μετά από δύο-και-α-μισό χρόνια απολύσεις.
González δήλωσε: “I am very happy with this new chapter in my career. I am returning to the ring with plenty of excitement and with the same dedication I have always had. I thank Marshall and King’s Promotions for the opportunity and I have no doubt that together we will return to a world title.”

Santa Fe Springs, ΟΠΩΣ–NABA Lightweight champion Petr Πετρόφ (36-4-2, 17 KO του) has been training hard for his big showdown with NABF Lightweight champion Marvin Quintero (28-6, 24 KO του) that will take place on Παρασκευή, Μάιος 6 στο Ο Toshiba Plaza, adjacent to the state-of-the-art T-Mobile Arena. Petrov took time out from his busy training schedule at the Santa Springs Boxing Club in Sante Fe, California to provide the following comments as he gets ready for this big opportunity:

“It’s a big event weekend. We know there there will be a lot of media and fight fans there. I am a fan friendly fighter, and it comes down to putting on a great show in front of all the boxing people in attendance.”

Με 36 victories under his belt, lightweight contender Petr “Zar” Petrov holds an impressive boxing resume, included winning ESPN’s 2014 Boxcino Lightweight tournament. Petrov was last seen in April 2015 taking on former world champion Gamaliel “Platano” Diaz where he successfully defended his NABO and NABA Lightweight Titles via unanimous decision. As the current NABA Lightweight Title holder, Petrov will be looking to add another notable title to his name when he faces Quintero on 6 Μαΐου.
