LAS VEGAS, NV (Marzo 10, 2020) - L' Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame announced its 2020 class of inductees today at the Fernando Vargas Fighting Foundation a Las Vegas. Inductees in attendance were, 2-Volte campione del mondo Fernando Vargas, 2-Volte campione del mondo, Bones Adams, WBC campione leggero, Devin Haney, who was voted Fighter of the Year, Prospect of the Year, Rolando Romero, e Saalim Gonzales, father of Amateur Fighter of the Year, Rahim Gonzales. The group was introduced by NVBHOF founder, Rich Morrata, and President Michelle Corrales.

(Ottobre 19, 2017, 2017) – La sua induzione nella Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame (CBHOF) il Sabato notte, Ottobre 28, come parte della classe di sei membri della 2017, sarà coronare la carriera pugilistica di giudice in pensione Clark Sammartino a 13TH annuale Cena di Gala CBHOF induzione nella sala da ballo Uncas a Mohegan Sun.

Un laureato di Brown University, l'ormai 80 anni, Sammartino ha goduto di altri due carriere come un chirurgo orale e consulente per gli investimenti al Blue Fin a Providence, in aggiunta al suo ruolo di giudice internazionale di boxe dal 1985.
“Ho ottenuto nella boxe perché Joey Angelo sposato mia cugina,” Sammartino ha spiegato. “Ha combattuto indietro nei primi anni quaranta. Joey ha combattuto due volte Willie Pep e Sandy Saddler. I am proud to officially announce my 6th Official Amateur Boxing Reunion that will take place on March 18 at Monique’s Lounge in Harlem, New York. I am expecting by far the largest turn out of any of the previous 5 reunions which were held twice at Rival Boxing in Las Vegas, once at Jimmy’s Corner in Manhattan and once each at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos.
Of the over 100 boxers attending this far, among them I expect the likes of 1988 Medaglia d'argento olimpica Riddick Big Daddy Bowe, NYC Golden Gloves Champ “Poison” Junior Jones, 1984 Olympic champ Mark Breland, 1974 National Junior Olympic champ Marlon Starling, 1996 USA Olympic team captain Lawrence Clay-Bey e 1988 Nazionale di Golden Gloves Champion marchio “Troppo Sharp” Johnson.
At my past reunions, including the most recent one held at the Rival Boxing Store in Las Vegas on Novembre 18, we’ve had the likes of Roy Jones Jr., alex “Il Bomber Bronx” Ramos, 1992 Olympian Montell Griffin, former three time world champions Mike McCallum and Iran Barkley, e “Il combattente” and Irish Micky Ward in attendance.
Among the most special of moments at my reunions, we had Mike McCallum and Alex Ramos, who met each other in the semi-finals of the 1980 NYC Golden Gloves, reconnect in Las Vegas in late 2014, we had Luis Ortiz and Lawrence Clay-Bey, who were brought together in 2015 at Foxwoods after not only not seeing each other in 38 YEARS but after not even knowing they fought against each other in 1977 until just a few days before they reunited and in NYC over the summer of 2015 abbiamo avuto 1984 New York City Golden Gloves 156 pound champion and runner up Dennis “The Magician” Milton and Jesse Lanton connect once again.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Novembre 2, 2016) – Attendees for the Novembre 4, 2016, “Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame” Pre-Fight Fundraiser, taking place after the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jessie Vargas pesare-in, have been announced.
The Pre-Fight “Night with Boxing Legends” fundraiser dinner will take place at Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant e Wine Bar, located close to the Thomas & Mack Center. Ferraro’s will provide great food, cocktails & a beautiful atmosphere. Two tickets to the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jesse Vargas fight will be auctioned off at the event. All proceeds will go to help boxing organizations in Las Vegas. Don’t miss your chance to support a great cause and meet several Boxing Legends in this intimate setting.
