Busy Spring for GH3 Promotions fighters

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-It was a bittersweet night for welterweight contender Thomas Lamanna as he won a 10-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining bout in front of a capacity crowd at The Claridge Hotel Içinde Atlantic City.

The 11-bout card was promoted by Rising Promotions.

LaManna won the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight title and shortly after, the fighter known as “Cornflake” promptly announced his retirement in the ring.

The two traded big blows throughout the bout as Sosa came out very aggressively and was able to land some good right hands. LaManna was giving better of the two-way action, which had the sold-out crowd very enthused throughout the contest.

In round six, LaManna was dominant by scoring two knockdowns from body shots. LaManna was relentless in battering Sosa all over the ring with Sosa lucky to hear the bell to culminate the round. Both guys traded hard shots down the stretch with LaManna getting the better of the action. Every so often, Sosa was able to score with hard shots, but they were few and far between.
LaManna sat down on his punches and landed thudding blows as he tried to get the stoppage against the tough Sosa.

When he fought somebody with caliber, he lost.”

The show is expected to be the 9th sold-out show at the Claridge promoted by Rising Promotions.
“Rising Promotions is looking forward to ending the Summer with another great show here at the Claridge. We have a good line up on the card so we are hoping for a packed house, and we are looking forward to staging our first championship bout,” said Debbie LaManna of Rising Promotions.
The championship bout is the first major sanctioning body championship bout in Atlantic City in almost three years. (Kovalev vs Hopkins, Kasım 8, 2014).
LaManna will be looking to win his first belt in the welterweight division. A win will propel him into the rankings as he looks for a high profile bout later this year.
The 25 year-old LaManna has a record of 23-2 Dokuz tırnakları ile, and he is currently riding a two fight win streak, and is undefeated in 2017.
The six-year professional is 4-1 as a Welterweight and has credible wins over Kendal Mena, and Ayi Bruce as well as his last two victories, which have come over Eduardo Flores and Carlos Winston Velasquez, who stepped into the ring with 52 ve 54 fights under their belt.
LaManna dropped a ten-round unanimous decision to undefeated Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (30-0-1 16 KO en) on September 15th, 2016 in a very high intense battle that was contested for the USBA Title. The LaManna/Harrison fight is a candidate for Fight of the Year for local Philadelphia boxing award “Briscoe Award”
This will be LaManna’s 6th fight at The Claridge, and his 16th fight in Atlantic City.

I have seen Sosa fight on our last card and he is very game, durable and strong so I cannot take him lightly. Capers is coming off a four-round unanimous decsion defeat to Garrett Wilson on June 9thin Tannersville, Pensilvanya.

GH3 Promotions scores 6 big victories this past Friday night in Atlantic City

Nutley, NJ (Ocak 24, 2017) – Despite the disappointing loss by Adam Lopez in the main event of the ShoBox: Yeni Nesil card at Ballys Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, GH3 Promosyonlar still had a prosperous evening as the company registered six big victories on the show.

Televised winners included Ronald Ellis ve Kenenth Sims, Jr. süre Stephon Genç, LeRoy Davila, Keenan Smith ve Malik Jackson were all very impressive on the undercard.
Ellis won a 8-round unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker to raise his record to 14-0-1 Bir süper orta bout.
Junior Welterweight, Sims was making his national television debut, and did so in style as he remained perfect by winning a 8-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Robles to go to 11-0.
Young of St. Louis fought a crowd pleasing fight, and took home a unanimous decision over Olimjon Nazarov and the number-4 ranked bantamweight contender is now 16-0-3.
Davila, bir 2016 United Stated Olympic alternate, dominated and ultimately stopped fellow undefeated bantamweight Anthony Taylor in round three of their four round bout. Davila, a native of New Brunswick, New Jersey is now 5-0 ile 3 tırnakları.
Smith of Philadelphia was impressive in stopping Marquis Hawthorne after round five of their scheduled six round welterweight bout. Smith was dominant from the opening bell, and Hawthorne had taken enough punishment to pack it in after round five. Smith is now 10-0 ile 4 tırnakları.
Jackson of Washington, D.C. was making his first start under the GH3 promotional banner and took out an overmatched Christian Foster in the 1st round. The super bantamweight remained perfect at 2-0 with both wins coming early.

“Adam Lopez in defeat showed a lot of heart and he will be back. He has showed that he can beat a lot of good fighters and his loss is just a minor setback.
