Busy Spring for GH3 Promotions fighters

NUTLEY, NJ (Marzu 27, 2018)–Starting din il-ġimgħa, GH3 Promotions will be active as eight of the Promotional outfit’s fighters will be in action over the next six weeks.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ-It was a bittersweet night for welterweight contender Thomas LAMANNA as he won a 10-round unanimous decision over George Sosa in an entertaining bout in front of a capacity crowd at The Claridge Hotel Fl Belt Atlantiku.

The 11-bout card was promoted by Rising Promotions.

LaManna won the WBC Silver Latino Welterweight title and shortly after, the fighter known as “Cornflake” promptly announced his retirement in the ring.

The two traded big blows throughout the bout as Sosa came out very aggressively and was able to land some good right hands. LaManna was giving better of the two-way action, which had the sold-out crowd very enthused throughout the contest.
Fil round tnejn, Sosa started to swell under his left eye. In round six, He started bleeding badly from his nose as the result of pinpoint shots from LaManna.

In round six, LaManna was dominant by scoring two knockdowns from body shots. LaManna was relentless in battering Sosa all over the ring with Sosa lucky to hear the bell to culminate the round. Both guys traded hard shots down the stretch with LaManna getting the better of the action. Every so often, Sosa was able to score with hard shots, but they were few and far between.
LaManna sat down on his punches and landed thudding blows as he tried to get the stoppage against the tough Sosa.

“It feels so great to win a championship and to get that hardware.”

Then LaManna announced that this would be his last fight.

Ex champion dinja Imamu Mayfield u Lamont Kappar slugged it out to an eight-round split draw in their cruiserweight bout.

In round six, Mayfield was cut over his left eye from a punch, and Capers had bad swelling over his left eye from a headbutt.Each fighter took a card by a 77-75, tally while 3rd card read even at 76-76.

Mayfield, 200 lbs of Freehold, NJ is now 26-10-3. Capers, 196 lbs of Hawley, PA is 7-10-3.

Yurik Mamedov won a six-round unanimous decision over Ariel Vasquez in a welterweight bout.

Mamedov, 145.5 lbs of Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 60-54 fuq il-karti kollha, u issa huwa 7-0. Vasquez, 145.3 lbs ta Managua, NIC is 12-19-2.

Emmanuel Rodriguez won a four round unanimous decision over pro debuting Willie Anderson.

Frederick Julán stopped Tahlik Taylor in the 6th and final round of their light heavyweight bout.

Julan landed a hard left that sent Taylor staggering back into the ropes, u l-bout kien waqaf fl 1:15.

Tomas Romain win a four round majority decision over pro debuting Marcos Lugo in a lightweight bout.

Romain, 131.7 lbs of Brooklyn, NY won by scores of 40-36, 39-37 u 38-38 u issa huwa 4-1. Lugo, 131.6 lbs of Vineland, NJ hija 0-1.

Nahir Albright flattened Ronald Logan in 77 seconds of their scheduled four-round junior welterweight bout.

Albright landed a perfect right that sent Logan down for several minutes.

Anthony Young won a six-round unanimous decision over Carlos Winston Velasquez in a welterweight bout.

I was too busy partying, and not taking matters seriously. Like my last fight with Anthony Young, I arrived three days before the weigh-in, u I kien 21 pounds over the weight. The show is expected to be the 9th sold-out show at the Claridge promoted by Rising Promotions.
“Rising Promotions is looking forward to ending the Summer with another great show here at the Claridge. We have a good line up on the card so we are hoping for a packed house, and we are looking forward to staging our first championship bout,” said Debbie LaManna of Rising Promotions.
The championship bout is the first major sanctioning body championship bout in Atlantic City in almost three years. (Kovalev vs Hopkins, Novembru 8, 2014).
LaManna will be looking to win his first belt in the welterweight division. A win will propel him into the rankings as he looks for a high profile bout later this year.
Il 25 year-old LaManna has a record of 23-2 b'disa knockouts, and he is currently riding a two fight win streak, and is undefeated in 2017.
The six-year professional is 4-1 as a Welterweight and has credible wins over Kendal Mena, and Ayi Bruce as well as his last two victories, which have come over Eduardo Flores and Carlos Winston Velasquez, who stepped into the ring with 52 u 54 fights under their belt.
LaManna dropped a ten-round unanimous decision to undefeated Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (30-0-1 16 Tal-KO) on September 15th, 2016 in a very high intense battle that was contested for the USBA Title. The LaManna/Harrison fight is a candidate for Fight of the Year for local Philadelphia boxing award “Briscoe Award”
This will be LaManna’s 6th fight at The Claridge, and his 16th fight in Atlantic City.

GH3 Promotions scores 6 big victories this past Friday night in Atlantic City

NUTLEY, NJ (Jannar 24, 2017) – Despite the disappointing loss by Adam Lopez in the main event of the ShoBox: Il-Ġenerazzjoni Ġdida card at Ballys Atlantic City Hotel and Casino, Promozzjonijiet GH3 still had a prosperous evening as the company registered six big victories on the show.

Televised winners included Ronald Ellis u Kenenth Sims, Jr. filwaqt Stephon Young, LeRoy Davila, Keenan Smith u Malik Jackson were all very impressive on the undercard.
Ellis won a 8-round unanimous decision over Christopher Brooker to raise his record to 14-0-1 fi bout middleweight super.
Junior Welterweight, Sims was making his national television debut, and did so in style as he remained perfect by winning a 8-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Robles to go to 11-0.
Young of St. Louis fought a crowd pleasing fight, and took home a unanimous decision over Olimjon Nazarov and the number-4 ranked bantamweight contender is now 16-0-3.
Davila, a 2016 United Stated Olympic alternate, dominated and ultimately stopped fellow undefeated bantamweight Anthony Taylor in round three of their four round bout. Davila, a native of New Brunswick, New Jersey is now 5-0 ma 3 knockouts.
Smith of Philadelphia was impressive in stopping Marquis Hawthorne after round five of their scheduled six round welterweight bout. Smith was dominant from the opening bell, and Hawthorne had taken enough punishment to pack it in after round five. Smith is now 10-0 ma 4 knockouts.
Jackson of Washington, D.C. was making his first start under the GH3 promotional banner and took out an overmatched Christian Foster in the 1st round. The super bantamweight remained perfect at 2-0 with both wins coming early.
“Some of our younger guys really showed that they are legit prospects,” said Vito Mielnicki, CEO of GH3 Promotions.
“Adam Lopez in defeat showed a lot of heart and he will be back. He has showed that he can beat a lot of good fighters and his loss is just a minor setback. Ma 'dak being said, Ronald Ellis and Kenneth Sims were in exciting fights and came through on ShoBox. Ellis is at the point now where he should start getting rated by the sanctioning bodies, and start competing for regional titles in the super middleweight division. We were very impressed by Davila, Young, Jackson, and Smith. Our next order of business is to get Stephon a big fight very soon.”

Anthony “Meraq” Young ready for Jersey showdown with Malik Jackson this Thursday night in Philly

Belt Atlantiku, NJ (Settembru 14, 2016)– Welterweight, Anthony “Meraq” Young will look for his third consecutive victory when he takes on Malik Jackson in a battle of New Jersey based fighters as one of the undercard bouts this Thursday nighfil- 2300 Arena fil Philadelphia.
Young of Atlantic City won his first ten bouts and after his current two-fight streak will enter the ring with a record of 13-2 ma 'ħames knockouts.
“I had a really good camp and great sparring with (ħfief) Anthony Burgin & Victor Padilla.
In Jackson, he is facing a fighter with a very deceiving 3-9-4 rekord. He has had several questionable decisions not go in his favor, so Young expects a fight that will not be a gimme.
“I do not know much about him other than t\him being a scrappy fighter who is coming to win. I know he is from New Jersey, but it doesn’t matter where he is from. He could be from Switzerland for all I care.”
This will be the third bout that Young will have championship trainer Raul “Chino” Rivas, and Young already has seen the improvements with his new coach.

“I know Jackson a little bit as I am originally from North Jersey. My son beat him in the amateurs He is tall and his record doesn’t justify who he is. He has been overmatched. But I have noticed that he doesn’t use his jab and he doesn”t have the heart when you press him. We have been using Juice’s angles and combinations and slowly we have been to eliminate bad habits. He is smart, a hard worker and disciplined and his best boxing is ahead of him.”
