ST. PETERSBURG, Rusija (December 15, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced Knockout of the Night and Submission of the Night bonus performance award co-winners for last Friday night’s M-1 Challenge 73: Bitka Narts v Ingušetiji, Rusija.

Feared striker Magomeda Idrisov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), of Russia captured the M-1 Challenge bantamweight title by knocking out defending champion John “To je” Buchinger (31-5-0, M-1: 6-1-0), boj iz Slovaške, who rode a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73, Idrisov put Buchinger to sleep with one devastating punch in the opening round for a shocking ending.
American bantamweight “Punisher” Josh Popravek House (14-4-0, M-1: 2-0-0) knocked out his Kazakh opponent, Sergej Morozov (6-2-0, M-1: 3-2-0), V prvem krogu.

NAZRAN, Ingushetia, Rusija (December 9, 2016) – Rising Russian MMA star Magomed Idriosov knocked out Ivan “To je” Buchinger in the opening round of Nocoj je M-1 Challenge 73: Bitka Narts main event to become M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion.
V sodelovanju funkcijo, M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev won a hard fought three-round split decision over Anatoly Tokov in Ingushetia, Rusija.
Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. V njegov 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. The Russian is now undefeated in four M-1 Global fights having previously defeated Yuri Maia (KO1 – luknjači) in the M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout noči, Max Coga (DEC3) and Sergej Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 pri M-1 Challenge 51.

Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world, Emeev (15-3-0, M-1: 9-1-0) and Tokov (24-3-0, M-1: 8-2-0), battled from to start to finish as Emeev won a three-round split decision for his fourth consecutive victory.

Undefeated Russian Moysar Evoloev remained undefeated (6-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) by taking a three-round unanimous decision over American Lee “Ameriški buldog” Morrison (15-8-0, M-1: 2-5-0) at a 140-pound (63.5 kilogramov) catchweight.
Russian lightweight Khamzat Dalgiev (8-1-0, M-1: 5-1-0), fighting at home in Ingushetia, chocked British-invader Christian “The Animal” Holley (10-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0) into a submission in the second round.
Closing out the Main Card, American bantamweight “Punisher” Josh Popravek House (14-4-0, M-1: 2-0-0) stopped his Kazakh opponent, Sergej Morozov (6-2-0, M-1: 3-2-0), V prvem krogu.
Brazilian bantamweight Diego “The Pride” Davella (16-5-0, M-1: 1-0-0) won his M-1 debut, choking Zalimbeg Omarov (7-2-1, M-1: 4-2-1) in a second-round submission on the Over Card.

A super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev(14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and KO artist specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0) volja naslov M-1 Challenge 73: Bitka Narts in a battle of elite Russian fighters.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogramov) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, the King of the Cage prvak, prevzame Sergej Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Na M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), boj iz Slovaške, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor v 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 pri M-1 Challenge 52, ustavljanje Turnih Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Challenge 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. BAKU, Azerbajdžan (Junij 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Challenge 67 main event in Baku, Azerbajdžan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.
V sodelovanju funkcijo, M-1 Challenge peresno prvak John “To je” Buchinger (31-4-0), of Slovakia, used a North-South choke to submit his late replacement opponent, Russian Mikhail Korobkov (9-2-0), in a non-title fight.
Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo Brito (13-8-0) v krogu otvoritveni. Hometown najljubši Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.
Czech Republic had two winners on the main card as middleweight Talekh Nadzhafadz (5-1-0) won a 3-round decision over his Spanish opponent, Felipe “Biggi” Nsue (11-10-0), while heavyweight Zauer Gadzhibabayev (5-1-0) used a rear naked choke to submit Bulgarian Lazar Todev (2-3-0).

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusija (Junij 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomeda Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight to soboto (Junij 4) against defending champion John “To je” Buchinger pri M-1 Challenge 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Azerbajdžan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), Rusije, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to vzhodno Nagibina last Friday atM-1 Challenge 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, boj iz Slovaške, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.
The new main event matches Alexander “Iron Capture” Butenko (40-11-2, M-1: 7-1-0), Ukrajine, and BelarussianArtiom Damkovsky (20-9-0. M-1: 10-6-0) za prosto delovno M-1 Challenge lahki prvenstvo.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Challenge 52, ustavljanje Turnih Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. 29-year-old Grecicho (21-6-0, 2 KO / TKO, 16 SUB) is a submission specialist whose victims have primarily fallen to his choke holds.
