PETERSBURG, Rusija (November 9, 2016) – The already loaded M-1 Challenge 73: Bitka Narts card has been bolstered by the M-1 Global announcement that two American fighters, Lee “Ameriški buldog” Morrison in “The Finisher” Josh Popravek House, have been added to the 2016 season-ending event December 9th v Ingušetiji, Rusija.
A super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev(14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and KO artist specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0) volja naslov M-1 Challenge 73: Bitka Narts in a battle of elite Russian fighters.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogramov) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.
 Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (pictured below).
 Rettinghouse, the King of the Cage prvak, prevzame Sergej Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Na M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
 An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

In addition to the rematch between Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) and Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-1-0), the lightweight fight between former champion Artiom Damkovsky in Alexey “Odstop” Makhno had already been announced by M-1 Global.
Undefeated Russian middleweight Artem Frolov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), a strong striker and Combat Sambo master, faces American opponent Luigi “Italijanski Tank” Fiorvanti (26-14-0, M-1: 4-3-0) battle with future title fight implications on the line for the winner.
Frolov is coming off a three-round unanimous decision over Rafael Xavier pri M-1 Challenge 70, while Fiorvanti is considered a good all-around fighter who is a former M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger.
In a featherweight bout, fully recovered Kurbaneli Abdusalamor (6-2-0, M-1: 4-0-0) faces fellow Russian vzhodno Nagibina (7-2-0, M-1: 3-1-0). Abdusalamov has won four fights in a row, including his last 13 months ago against American Lee Morrison, which ended in a 3-round majority decision for the Russian fighter before he was sidelined with injuries.
Lahka Damir Ismagulov (8-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), a native of Kazakhstan fighting out of Russia, meets Brazilian Rubenilton “Rubinho” Pear (16-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0). Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), boj iz Slovaške, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor v 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 pri M-1 Challenge 52, ustavljanje Turnih Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Challenge 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. Also announced was a lightweight battle between former champion Artiom Damkovsky in Alexey “Odstop” Makhno.
Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Rusija, will be making his first title defense. He defeated defending champion Abdulaev, who was unable to continue in round four of their fight this past April at M-1 Challenge 65.
Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-2-0), fighting out of Anapa, Rusija, originally captured the M-1 Challenge welterweight title at M-1 Challenge 58, sprejetjem odločitve iz Marcello Britojunij 6, 2015 for the vacant title.

“The fight between Ramazan Emeev and Anatoly Tokov is the most anticipated fight in Russian MMA, “M-1 Globalna predsednik Vadim Finkelchtein je dejal. “Both Tokov and Emeev are fighters of the elite level, not only in Russia, but in the world. Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0), who was the M-1 Global 2015 Borec leta, returns to action after suffering a torn ligament in his elbow, which forced the Azerbaijan native to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship fight withAlexander Shlemenko.
The 29-year-old Emeev, fighting out of Makhachkala, Rusija, first captured the vacant M-1 Challenge middleweight title in 2012, taking a 5-round unanimous decision from Mario Miranda pri M-1 Challenge 35, and he successfully won the rematch five months later priM-1 Challenge 38, stopping Miranda via strikes in the third round.
 V 2014, Emeev lost his title belt to Vyacheslav Vasilevsky by way of a fourth-round knockout (luknjači) pri M-1 Challenge 51 v 2014. The resilient Emeev, vseeno, bounced back to regain his throne as M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, using a choke hold to submit Vasilevsky in the opening round at
M-1 Challenge 56.
Emeev has successfully defended his title against Luigi Fioravanti, who was unable to continue after four rounds at M-1 Challenge 63, and this past April Emeev defeated Brazilian Maiquel Falcao (see picture above) pri M-1 Challenge 65 in the first round by submission (čok).
Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0), 26, is a former ABC champion who fights out of Stary Oskol, Rusija. He is riding a 17-fight win streak, including knockouts of ENOC Rešuje Torres priM-1 Challenge 54 in Albert Duraev pri M-1 Challenge 46.

Smoldarev decisions Garner OFFICIAL RESULTS

In another featherweight match, Sergej Morozov (7-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0), Kazahstan, won a three-round decision versus always tough Ukrainian Andrey “Iron” Lezhnev(8-7-0, M-1: 2-3-0).
Brazilski težka Marcus “Montanha” Vinicius Lopes‘ (10-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) M-1 Global debut was a success as he won a three-round decision over Russian Kurban “Shkaf” Ibragimov (5-2-0, M-1: 3-2-0).
Russian flyweight Khamzat Dalgiev (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) turned in an impressive performance, stopping Spaniard Ronny Gomez (3-5-0, M-1: 0-1-0) midway through the opening round on punches.
Croatian featherweight Antun “Killer” Racic (18-7-1, M-1: 3-4-1) unbeaten Russian prospect Movsar Evloev (5-0-1, M-1: 5-0-1), who took the fight on late notice, fought to a three-round draw..
Rounding out the main card are two other featherweight bouts: Brazilian Rafael Dias(11-3-0, M-1: 0-0-0) vs. Kazaščina Sergej Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 2-1-0)

In the M-1 Medieval Knight fight between Russian heavyweights, Rustam Kukurkhoev won by second-round technical knockout over Vitaly Kravchenko.
