Del Valle thriving in camp; ready to Defeat De La Hoya
Bayamon, Puerto Rico (ກັນຍາ 6, 2016) – In less than two weeks, IBF #8 ranked super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle enters the ring against unbeaten and highly regarded Diego De La Hoya.
The bout opens the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez –Liam Smith HBO pay-per-view telecast ວັນເສົາ, ກັນຍາ 17 from AT&T Stadium ໃນ Arlington, TX and is scheduled for ten rounds. ຮ່ອມພູ, who fought on HBO and Showtime on multiple occasions, considers this bout the most important of his career as he’s facing a foe that is in a position he himself was once in.
“Going into my fight with Vic Darchinyan, I was unbeaten and there was a lot of hype behind me,"ກ່າວວ່າ Del Valle, ຜູ້ທີ່ເປັນ 22-2 ມີ 16 knockouts. “That fight was supposed to get me to the next level with a victory over a former world champion but unfortunately it didn’t go down that way. Vic had a ton of experience and was the better man that night. I learned a lot as a man, fighter and about preparation at the top level. Now I feel that I’m in the role Vic was against me when I face De La Hoya.”
To ensure he excels on the grandest stage of his career, Del Valle’s currently in a grueling training camp in his native Puerto Rico. With head trainer Emilo Lozada leading the way, Del Valle’s put in countless hours honing his craft. Against the 15-0 De ປະ Hoya, in what most expect to be the kind of high octane fight that epitomizes the Puerto Rico vs Mexico rivalry, Del Valle added new strength and conditioning drills so he’s able to engage in a high octane battle without running out of gas.
“It’s no secret that I bring the fight to everybody that gets in the ring with me. Diego and his team are looking to prove that he’s the real deal and they expect an impressive Mexican-style performance from him. What that means is this has all the makings of a fast paced brawl where nobody wants to take a step backwards. In order to come out of the battle as the victor, you’ve got to be ready for war. After what I’ve been through physically, mentally and emotionally in my training, I’m more than ready. All of the hard work will pay off when I break Diego De La Hoya down ກັນຍາ 17!"
Del Valle on bout with De La Hoya: “Expect fireworks”
Bayamon, PR (ສິງຫາ 23, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle is not one to waste time in the squared circle.
Currently the International Boxing Federation’s #8 contender ອັນດັບ, Del Valle scored 16 ຂອງລາວ 22 victories by knockout including nine within the first three rounds. Known for bringing the heat to his foes from the opening bell, Del Valle is accustom to partaking in exciting fights and most recently dropped hard-hitting Thomas Snow twice en route to a unanimous decision victory.
ກ່ຽວກັບ ກັນຍາ 17, Del Valle faces unbeaten and highly touted Diego De La Hoya in a ten round contest. The bout opens up the Saul Alvarez-Liam Smith pay per view telecast from AT&T Stadium ໃນ Arlington, TX. It is also renewing boxing’s oldest rivalry as Del Valle represents Puerto Rico while De La Hoya fights out of Mexico. The nephew of boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, Diego’s 15-0 ມີ 9 wins ໂດຍ knockout. ໃນເດືອນພຶດສະພາ, he battered previously unbeaten Rocco Santomaruo en route to a 7th round stoppage.
ຮ່ອມພູ, who is seven years De La Hoya’s senior, serves as a notable step up in class. Del Valle respects De La Hoya’s ability and believes it will be a classic Puerto Rico vs Mexico type battle while it lasts before his experience ultimately powers him to victory.
“The fans can expect fireworks on the 17th,” Del Valle said of his upcoming showdown with De La Hoya. “We’re both warriors and know that something bigger will follow if we win in a high profile fight like this. He is a good young fighter that has talent but I’m battle tested. I’ve fought former world champions and learned from my past bouts where I was matched tough. My experience will be a key for me in this fight. I can’t wait to put on a show for boxing fans all over the world!"
Del Valle excited for Tri State Area return
Bayamon, Puerto Rico (ເດືອນກໍລະກົດ 20, 2016) – As a teenager, Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle left his native Puerto Rico for Newburgh, NY where he resided for seven years. During his time in the Empire State amateur ranks, he made great strides in the ring and won multiple highly-competitive tournaments, most notably capturing the 2004 National Golden Gloves title.
As a pro, Del Valle had his first fight in New Jersey, hoisted the WBA-NABA championship in New York and Connecticut was the state that hosted his first appearance on HBO. ໂດຍລວມ, half of his 24 professional fights took place in the tri state area and the bilingual Del Valle built a solid fan following. ຢ່າງໃດກໍຕາມ, he hasn’t fought in the area since 2012.
ກ່ຽວກັບ ສິງຫາ 27, that will change when Del Valle battles an opponent to be announced in a ten round super bantamweight bout at the Bayonne Pavilion in Bayonne, New Jersey.
“I love fighting in the tri state area,"ກ່າວວ່າ Del Valle, the owner of an excellent 22-2 professional record with 16 knockouts and a #12 ranking by the International Boxing Federation. “I had a lot of great moments when I lived in New York and miss the local crowds. The support was great and there is a very large Puerto Rican population in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. I’ve still got a lot of fans in the area and they always ask me when I’m fighting locally again. Due to some of the changes in my career, I wasn’t sure until this incredible opportunity came up. I’d like to thank Roc Nation and LGM Promotions for making this happen. I’m hoping to fight for a world title in the near future and defend it in the tri state area.”

Del Valle Demolishes Crespo in Two
Del Valle to meet Crespo April 9!
Bayamon, PR (ເດືອນເມສາ 1, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle returns to the ring on ວັນເສົາ, ເດືອນເມສາ 9 to face New England titlist Josh Crespo in an eight round bout at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.
ປີ້ຈາກ $35 are on sale by calling 860-982-2532 ຫຼື 603-898-2311.
A blood and guts warrior who gives fans their monies worth every time he enters the squared circle, Del Valle has an outstanding 20-2 ບັນທຶກກັບ 15 wins ໂດຍ knockout. ໃນເດືອນພະຈິກ 2015, the Bayamon native stopped 50-plus fight veteran Jose Juan Beltran after two rounds in Comerio, Puerto Rico. Currently signed to an exclusive promotional contract with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports, Del Valle has his sights set on another big fight but first must conquer the task at hand.
Born and raised in New Haven, CT, Crespo is riding a wave of confidence having defeated Jorge Abiague (9-1) for the New England super bantamweight championship last November. Crespo’s professional ledger is a deceptive 6-2-3 ມີ 2 KO’s but he’s unbeaten in his last five, facing two undefeated fighters in the process.
If victorious, Del Valle is expected to appear in a televised bout in the immediate future. While some potentially view this fight as a given for Del Valle prior to bigger and better things, the 29-year-old knows that records don’t tell the whole story and Crespo’s hunger can’t be overlooked.
“I’ve got big plans but that all goes out the window if I don’t do what I have to against Crespo,” Del Valle said from his training camp in Puerto Rico. “Anybody who really knows boxing understands that a record doesn’t determine how good a fighter is. I’ve seen Crespo before. He’s tough and willing to take on anybody which is evident by the fact that he’s facing me rather than a lesser opponent. I’m training like I’m the underdog since this fight is close to his hometown and I’ve got a lot on the line.”
