Del Valle arrives in Dallas; Ready to Shine Saturday Night

During his time in the Empire State amateur ranks, he made great strides in the ring and won multiple highly-competitive tournaments, most notably capturing the 2004 National Golden Gloves title.

As a pro, Del Valle had his first fight in New Jersey, hoisted the WBA-NABA championship in New York and Connecticut was the state that hosted his first appearance on HBO. With a standing room only crowd on hand, Del Valle pressured Crespo early in the opening round and found a home for right hands.
