Dallas, TX (Septiembre 12, 2016) – IBF #8 super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle and his team arrived in Dallas this afternoon after leaving Puerto Rico earlier today.
Del Valle, who hails from Bayamon, meets unbeaten Diego De La Hoya, 15-0 (9 Nocáuts), Sábado evening over ten rounds in what is expected to be a classic Puerto Rico vs Mexico slugfest. The bout opens an HBO PPV telecast starting at 9 PM ET headlined by the junior middleweight championship fight between pound for pound superstar Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and reigning WBO champion Liam Smith. The card takes place a short distance from Dallas in Arlington, TX at AT&Estadio T, best known as the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Del Valle, 22-2 (16 Nocáuts), had grueling training camp to prepare for what he calls the biggest fight of his career. With his preparation in the books, Del Valle is supremely confident that the work he put in along with his significant experience advantage will guide him to victory.

Bayamón, Puerto Rico (Septiembre 6, 2016) – In less than two weeks, FIB #8 ranked super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle enters the ring against unbeaten and highly regarded Diego De La Hoya.

The bout opens the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez –Liam Smith HBO pay-per-view telecast Sábado, Septiembre 17 A partir de&T Stadium de Arlington, TX and is scheduled for ten rounds. Del Valle, who fought on HBO and Showtime on multiple occasions, considers this bout the most important of his career as he’s facing a foe that is in a position he himself was once in.

Bayamón, PR (Agosto 23, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle is not one to waste time in the squared circle.

Currently the International Boxing Federation’s #8 clasificado contendiente, Del Valle scored 16 de su 22 victories by knockout including nine within the first three rounds. Known for bringing the heat to his foes from the opening bell, Del Valle is accustom to partaking in exciting fights and most recently dropped hard-hitting Thomas Snow twice en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Del Valle excited for Tri State Area return

Bayamón, Puerto Rico (Julio 20, 2016) – As a teenager, Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle left his native Puerto Rico for Newburgh, NY where he resided for seven years. During his time in the Empire State amateur ranks, he made great strides in the ring and won multiple highly-competitive tournaments, most notably capturing the 2004 National Golden Gloves title.

As a pro, Del Valle had his first fight in New Jersey, hoisted the WBA-NABA championship in New York and Connecticut was the state that hosted his first appearance on HBO. Total, half of his 24 professional fights took place in the tri state area and the bilingual Del Valle built a solid fan following. Sin embargo, he hasn’t fought in the area since 2012.

En Agosto 27, that will change when Del Valle battles an opponent to be announced in a ten round super bantamweight bout at the Bayonne Pavilion in Bayonne, Nueva Jersey.

“I love fighting in the tri state area,” said Del Valle, the owner of an excellent 22-2 professional record with 16 knockouts and a #12 ranking by the International Boxing Federation. “I had a lot of great moments when I lived in New York and miss the local crowds. The support was great and there is a very large Puerto Rican population in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. I’ve still got a lot of fans in the area and they always ask me when I’m fighting locally again. Due to some of the changes in my career, I wasn’t sure until this incredible opportunity came up. Del Valle Demolishes Crespo in Two

Salem, NH (Abril 10, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle of Bayamon, PR scored a dominant second round stoppage over local favorite Josh Crespo Saturday, Abril 9 at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.
With a standing room only crowd on hand, Del Valle pressured Crespo early in the opening round and found a home for right hands. En el segundo, Del Valle continued to connect with clean shots including a perfectly placed hard overhand right to Crespo’s temple that sent him crashing to the canvas. The game Crespo got up and immediately stumbled back to the canvas but incredibly made it back to his feet before the count of 10. Seconds later, Del Valle swarmed his badly hurt foe and landed a number of punches until Crespo’s corner threw in the towel at 2:17.
"I knew early in the first round that I was the stronger fighter and would be able to hurt him with my punches,” Del Valle said after improving his record to 21-2 con 16 Nocáuts. “I give him all the credit in the world for stepping up to fight me and having tremendous heart. I thought the referee was going to stop it because I’ve never seen a fighter get knocked down, stand up, fall again then get back up in less than ten seconds.”
Del Valle who scored his third consecutive stoppage since losing a controversial decision to Luis Rosa, is confident that he’ll land another bout against a top fighter in the very near future.
"I did what I had to do last night and it’s onto bigger and better things. En mi mente, Darchinyan is the only fighter to defeat me and I’ve grown a lot since then. There are many great fighters at 122 pounds that I’d love to get in the ring with and I’m confident it will happen soon.”

A blood and guts warrior who gives fans their monies worth every time he enters the squared circle, Del Valle has an outstanding 20-2 registro con 15 triunfos por nocaut. En noviembre 2015, the Bayamon native stopped 50-plus fight veteran Jose Juan Beltran after two rounds in Comerio, Puerto Rico. Currently signed to an exclusive promotional contract with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports, Del Valle has his sights set on another big fight but first must conquer the task at hand.

Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, Crespo is riding a wave of confidence having defeated Jorge Abiague (9-1) for the New England super bantamweight championship last November. Crespo’s professional ledger is a deceptive 6-2-3 con 2 KO’s but he’s unbeaten in his last five, facing two undefeated fighters in the process.

If victorious, Del Valle is expected to appear in a televised bout in the immediate future. While some potentially view this fight as a given for Del Valle prior to bigger and better things, the 29-year-old knows that records don’t tell the whole story and Crespo’s hunger can’t be overlooked.

Bayamón, PR (Octubre 28, 2015) - Puerto Rico contendiente de peso gallo súper Luis "Orlandito" Del Valle volverá al ring en un concurso de ocho ronda Sábado, Noviembre 14 en el Auditorio Municipal de Comerio en Comerio, Puerto Rico.

La tarjeta es presentado por Promociones Miguel Cotto y Roc Nation Deportes y saldrán al aire Viernes, Noviembre 20 a través de delay de cinta en UNIMAS.

Un peleador de acción y aventuras que ofrece a los aficionados su dinero vale la pena cada uno y cada vez que entra en el ring, Del Valle tiene una excelente 19-2 contabilidad profesional con 14 de sus victorias por nocaut. Del Valle, que hizo un nombre por sí mismo en la escena mundial luchando por HBO y Showtime, detenido Roberto Castañeda en ocho asaltos el pasado marzo. Un ex campeón de peso pluma de la NABA, Del Valle posee victorias sobre Dat Nguyen y Christopher Martin.

Actualmente en un campo de entrenamiento intenso junto contendiente invicto Jayson Vélez, Del Valle está emocionado por noche de la pelea y tiene la vista puesta en grandes oportunidades en 2016.

Del Valle Inspirado por compatriotas Oquendo y Martínez

Bayamón, Puerto Rico (Septiembre 15, 2015) - El sábado pasado, peso pluma Luis "Orlandito" Del Valle vio compañeros puertorriqueños Jonathan Oquendo y Ramón "Rocky" Martínez en peleas emocionantes, como parte de la cartelera de Floyd Mayweather-Andre Berto.
Después de haber perdido tres peleas anteriores contra los combatientes de nivel de campeonato, Oquendo fue a probar que su cuarta vez sería un encanto contra dos divisiones campeón Jhonny González, de México. Un perdedor considerable, Oquendo superó una primera caída y vuelta a colocar González la siguiente ronda en el camino a una victoria por decisión mayoritaria de entretenimiento. La victoria fue la más grande de su carrera y lo pone en posición para un título mundial.
Más tarde esa noche, Martínez defendió su campeonato de la OMB peso pluma contra Orlando Súper Salido. Conocido entre los aficionados de Puerto Rico por el doble de la anulación de muy promocionado Juan Manuel López, Salido ganó títulos en 126 y 130 libra y miraron para vengar una derrota previa en contra de Martínez. En la tercera ronda, Salido anotó una caída controvertido, pero sí terminó en el lienzo más tarde en que la cortesía estrofa de una mano derecha Martínez. Desde allí, Martínez y Salido mostraron por qué Puerto Rico vs México es considerado como la mejor rivalidad del boxeo, ir a la guerra hasta la campana final. La pelea fue declarada un empate dividido y un tercer partido probablemente se llevará a cabo.
Al igual que su compatriotas Del Valle, 19-2, ha tenido altibajos en su carrera. En 2011, anotó una carrera mejor ganar contra el muy respetado Dat Nguyen para capturar la corona de peso pluma de la NABA en la ciudad de Nueva York a menos de 24 horas antes del Desfile Puertorriqueño. Desafortunadamente, sus dos derrotas llegaron en grandes escenarios contra el ex campeón mundial de dos divisiones Vic Darchinyan y más polémico que el contendiente invicto Luis Rosa. Después de la Marcha 2014 revés contra Rosa, Del Valle tomó tiempo fuera de la pista y se le concedió una liberación de sus contratos de promoción y de gestión. Entendiendo que estaba en un lugar más difícil que unos años antes, evaluó cuidadosamente sus opciones.
Este pasado mes de marzo, Del Valle resurgió al anotar un 8ºparo ronda sobre guardián Roberto Castañeda y firma con Jay-Z Roc Nation Deportes. Después de la victoria, entretuvo algunas ofertas de lucha y está esperando para luchar contra un par de veces más en 2015. La actuación de sus compatriotas el pasado sábado por la noche sin embargo lo puso en una mentalidad completamente diferente cuando se fue al gimnasio a la mañana siguiente.
"Yo estaba muy impresionado por Rocky y Oquendo,” said Del Valle. "Ambos sufrieron múltiples derrotas pero ellos superaron mediante la realización de un gran escenario la semana pasada. Después de ver las peleas, Me senté y me di cuenta que me podría haber si se les da una oportunidad similar. Realmente me inspiró a entrenar más duro porque quiero hacer Puerto Rico orgullosos!"
Sin un conjunto oficial fecha para su próximo partido, Del Valle tiene la esperanza de que recibe un lugar en Miguel Cotto y Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez cartelera y se compromete a excitar si tuviera la oportunidad.
"Verdaderos fans de boxeo son más emocionado para Cotto-Canelo que cualquier otra pelea este año incluyendo Mayweather-Pacquiao. Eso va a ser otro gran capítulo de la rivalidad Puerto Rico-México. Sería un sueño hecho realidad para luchar en esa tarjeta contra un boxeador superior mexicana. Estoy ansioso por mostrar al mundo que Orlandito está de vuelta y motivado!"
