Del Valle arrives in Dallas; Ready to Shine Saturday Night

Dallas, TX (Setembre 12, 2016) – IBF #8 super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle and his team arrived in Dallas this afternoon after leaving Puerto Rico earlier today.
Del Valle, who hails from Bayamon, meets unbeaten Diego De La Hoya, 15-0 (9 Nocauts), Dissabte evening over ten rounds in what is expected to be a classic Puerto Rico vs Mexico slugfest. The bout opens an HBO PPV telecast starting at 9 PM ET headlined by the junior middleweight championship fight between pound for pound superstar Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and reigning WBO champion Liam Smith. The card takes place a short distance from Dallas in Arlington, TX at AT&T Stadium, best known as the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Del Valle, 22-2 (16 Nocauts), had grueling training camp to prepare for what he calls the biggest fight of his career. With his preparation in the books, Del Valle is supremely confident that the work he put in along with his significant experience advantage will guide him to victory.

Del Valle thriving in camp; ready to Defeat De La Hoya

Bayamón, Port Ric (Setembre 6, 2016) – In less than two weeks, FIB #8 ranked super bantamweight Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle enters the ring against unbeaten and highly regarded Diego De La Hoya.

The bout opens the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez –Liam Smith HBO pay-per-view telecast Dissabte, Setembre 17 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX and is scheduled for ten rounds. Del Valle, who fought on HBO and Showtime on multiple occasions, considers this bout the most important of his career as he’s facing a foe that is in a position he himself was once in.

Bayamón, PR (Agost 23, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle is not one to waste time in the squared circle.

Currently the International Boxing Federation’s #8 classificat contendent, Del Valle scored 16 de la seva 22 victories by knockout including nine within the first three rounds. Known for bringing the heat to his foes from the opening bell, Del Valle is accustom to partaking in exciting fights and most recently dropped hard-hitting Thomas Snow twice en route to a unanimous decision victory.

Del Valle, who is seven years De La Hoya’s senior, serves as a notable step up in class. Del Valle respects De La Hoya’s ability and believes it will be a classic Puerto Rico vs Mexico type battle while it lasts before his experience ultimately powers him to victory.

Del Valle excited for Tri State Area return

Bayamón, Port Ric (Juliol 20, 2016) – As a teenager, Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle left his native Puerto Rico for Newburgh, NY where he resided for seven years. During his time in the Empire State amateur ranks, he made great strides in the ring and won multiple highly-competitive tournaments, most notably capturing the 2004 National Golden Gloves title.

As a pro, Del Valle had his first fight in New Jersey, hoisted the WBA-NABA championship in New York and Connecticut was the state that hosted his first appearance on HBO. Total, half of his 24 professional fights took place in the tri state area and the bilingual Del Valle built a solid fan following. No obstant això, he hasn’t fought in the area since 2012.

En Agost 27, that will change when Del Valle battles an opponent to be announced in a ten round super bantamweight bout at the Bayonne Pavilion in Bayonne, Nova Jersey.

Del Valle Demolishes Crespo in Two

Salem, NH (Abril 10, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle of Bayamon, PR scored a dominant second round stoppage over local favorite Josh Crespo Saturday, Abril 9 at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.
With a standing room only crowd on hand, Del Valle pressured Crespo early in the opening round and found a home for right hands. En el segon, Del Valle continued to connect with clean shots including a perfectly placed hard overhand right to Crespo’s temple that sent him crashing to the canvas. The game Crespo got up and immediately stumbled back to the canvas but incredibly made it back to his feet before the count of 10. Seconds later, Del Valle swarmed his badly hurt foe and landed a number of punches until Crespo’s corner threw in the towel at 2:17.
"I knew early in the first round that I was the stronger fighter and would be able to hurt him with my punches,” Del Valle said after improving his record to 21-2 amb 16 Nocauts. “I give him all the credit in the world for stepping up to fight me and having tremendous heart. I thought the referee was going to stop it because I’ve never seen a fighter get knocked down, stand up, fall again then get back up in less than ten seconds.”
Del Valle who scored his third consecutive stoppage since losing a controversial decision to Luis Rosa, is confident that he’ll land another bout against a top fighter in the very near future.
"I did what I had to do last night and it’s onto bigger and better things. En la meva ment, Darchinyan is the only fighter to defeat me and I’ve grown a lot since then. There are many great fighters at 122 pounds that I’d love to get in the ring with and I’m confident it will happen soon.”

Del Valle to meet Crespo April 9!

Bayamón, PR (Abril 1, 2016) – Super bantamweight contender Luis “Orlandito” Del Valle returns to the ring on Dissabte, Abril 9 to face New England titlist Josh Crespo in an eight round bout at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.

A blood and guts warrior who gives fans their monies worth every time he enters the squared circle, Del Valle has an outstanding 20-2 registre amb 15 triomfs per nocaut. Al novembre 2015, the Bayamon native stopped 50-plus fight veteran Jose Juan Beltran after two rounds in Comerio, Port Ric. Currently signed to an exclusive promotional contract with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports, Del Valle has his sights set on another big fight but first must conquer the task at hand.

Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, Crespo is riding a wave of confidence having defeated Jorge Abiague (9-1) for the New England super bantamweight championship last November. Crespo’s professional ledger is a deceptive 6-2-3 amb 2 KO’s but he’s unbeaten in his last five, facing two undefeated fighters in the process.

If victorious, Del Valle is expected to appear in a televised bout in the immediate future. While some potentially view this fight as a given for Del Valle prior to bigger and better things, the 29-year-old knows that records don’t tell the whole story and Crespo’s hunger can’t be overlooked.

“I’ve got big plans but that all goes out the window if I don’t do what I have to against Crespo,” Del Valle said from his training camp in Puerto Rico. “Anybody who really knows boxing understands that a record doesn’t determine how good a fighter is. I’ve seen Crespo before. He’s tough and willing to take on anybody which is evident by the fact that he’s facing me rather than a lesser opponent. I’m training like I’m the underdog since this fight is close to his hometown and I’ve got a lot on the line.”

Supergallo contendent Del Valle devolucions novembre 14 a Puerto Rico!

Bayamón, PR (Octubre 28, 2015) - Puerto Rico contendent de pes gall súper Luis "Orlandito" De la Vall tornarà al ring en un concurs de vuit ronda Dissabte, Novembre 14 a l'Auditori Municipal de Comerio a Comerio, Port Ric.

La targeta és presentat per Promocions Miguel Cotto i Roc Nation Esports i sortiran a l'aire Divendres, Novembre 20 a través de delay de cinta en UNIMAS.

Un lluitador d'acció i aventures que ofereix als aficionats seus diners val la pena cada un i cada vegada que entra al ring, Del Valle té una excel·lent 19-2 comptabilitat professional amb 14 de les seves victòries per nocaut. Del Valle, que va fer un nom per si mateix en l'escena mundial lluitant per HBO i Showtime, detingut Roberto Castañeda en vuit assalts el març passat. Un ex campió de pes ploma de la NABA, Del Valle posseeix victòries sobre Dat Nguyen i Christopher Martin.

Del Valle Inspirat per compatriotes Oquendo i Martínez

Bayamón, Port Ric (Setembre 15, 2015) - Dissabte passat, pes ploma Luis "Orlandito" De la Vall va veure companys porto-riquenys Jonathan Oquendo i Ramon "Rocky" Martínez en baralles emocionants, com a part de la cartellera de Floyd Mayweather-Andre Berto.
Després d'haver perdut tres baralles anteriors contra els combatents de nivell de campionat, Oquendo va anar a provar que el seu quarta vegada seria un encant contra dues divisions campió Jhonny González, de Mèxic. Un perdedor considerable, Oquendo va superar una primera caiguda i tornada a col·locar González la següent ronda en el camí a una victòria per decisió majoritària d'entreteniment. La victòria va ser la més gran de la seva carrera i el posa en posició per a un títol mundial.
Més tard aquesta nit, Martínez va defensar el seu campionat de la OMB pes ploma contra Orlando Súper sortit. Conegut entre els aficionats de Puerto Rico pel doble de l'anul·lació de molt promocionat Juan Manuel López, Sortit guanyar títols en 126 i 130 lliura i van mirar per venjar una derrota prèvia en contra de Martínez. A la tercera ronda, Sortit anotar una caiguda controvertit, però sí va acabar en el llenç més tard en què la cortesia estrofa d'una mà dreta Martínez. Des d'allà, Martínez i Sortit van mostrar per què Puerto Rico vs Mèxic és considerat com la millor rivalitat de la boxa, anar a la guerra fins a la campana final. La baralla va ser declarada un empat dividit i un tercer partit probablement es durà a terme.
Igual que el seu compatriotes Del Valle, 19-2, ha tingut alts i baixos en la seva carrera. En 2011, anotar una carrera millor guanyar contra el molt respectat Dat Nguyen per capturar la corona de pes ploma de la NABA a la ciutat de Nova York a menys de 24 hores abans de la Rua Porto-riqueny. Desafortunadament, les seves dues derrotes van arribar en grans escenaris contra l'ex campió mundial de dues divisions Vic Darchinyan i més polèmic que el contendent invicte Luis Rosa. Després de la Marxa 2014 revés contra Rosa, Del Valle va prendre temps fora de la pista i se li va concedir un alliberament dels seus contractes de promoció i de gestió. Entenent que estava en un lloc més difícil que uns anys abans, va avaluar acuradament les seves opcions.
Aquest passat mes de març, Del Valle va ressorgir en anotar un 8ºatur ronda sobre guardià Roberto Castañeda i signa amb Jay-Z Roc Nation Esports. Després de la victòria, entretenir algunes ofertes de lluita i està esperant per lluitar contra un parell de vegades més en 2015. L'actuació dels seus compatriotes el passat dissabte a la nit però el va posar en una mentalitat completament diferent quan es va anar al gimnàs al matí següent.
"Jo estava molt impressionat per Rocky i Oquendo,"Said Del Valle. "Tots dos van patir múltiples derrotes però ells van superar mitjançant la realització d'un gran escenari la setmana passada. Després de veure les baralles, Em vaig asseure i em vaig adonar que em podria haver si se'ls dóna una oportunitat similar. Realment em va inspirar a entrenar més dur perquè vull fer Puerto Rico orgullosos!"
Sense un conjunt oficial data per al seu pròxim partit, Del Valle té l'esperança que rep un lloc en Miguel Cotto i Saül "Canelo" Álvarez cartellera i es compromet a excitar si tingués l'oportunitat.
"Veritables fans de boxa són més emocionat per Cotto-Canelo que qualsevol altra baralla aquest any incloent Mayweather-Pacquiao. Això serà un altre gran capítol de la rivalitat Puerto Rico-Mèxic.
