New York State Boxing HOF Class of 2020 Induction Ceremony Postponed until September 20

World heavyweight contender Lou Savarese to be inducted into New York State Boxing HOF

“This is truly amazing,” Savarese spoke about being inducted into the NYSBHOF. “I’m a New York boxing historian, going back to the 1920’s of New York boxing history. It’s so nice to have fought in the best place, نیو یارک, the epicenter of boxing.

Savarese turned pro April 30, 1989, باہر دستک James Smith in the fourth round of their fight in Houston. In addition to the aforementioned IBA World, Savarese also won the WBO Inter-Continental, and IBA Continental championships.

But Lou Savarese will always embody what it is to be a New York boxer.
