MONTRÉAL (Février 21, 2017) – Le “BUTE CONTRE ALVAREZ” conférence de presse a eu lieu aujourd'hui à Québec pour ce vendredi combat de championnat de nuit entre le World Boxing Council invaincu (WBC) Champion des poids lourds légers d'argent Eleider “Tempête” Alvarez et ancien champion du monde des super-moyens Lucian Bute (32-3-1, 25 KOs) au Centre Vidéotron à Québec, Canada.

Que c'était Nicholson Poulard. Il a été mis KO au troisième tour et il a abandonné après cela. MONTRÉAL (Février 20, 2017) – Une carte complète avec une saveur internationale, du haut jusqu'en bas, a été annoncé pour Artur Beterbiev vs. Sullivan Barrera IBF LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT ELIMINATION BOUT April 21 in MIAMI
MONTRÉAL (Février 17, 2017)– It’s official: MONTRÉALAISE Artur Beterbiev(IBF #2 – 11-0-0, 11 KOs) will be in the most important fight of his career, against Cuban-born Sullivan Barrera(IBF #7 – 18-1-0, 13 KOs), for the mandatory challenger position for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) light heayvweight world title, held by American Andre Ward (31-0-0, 15 KOs). The Beterbiev vs. Barrera clash will take place Avril 21 à Miami, Floride.
“It is with great pride and confidence that we go into this fight in Miami,” Beterbiev’s promoter Yvon Michel(Groupe Yvon Michel). “In order for Beterbiev to receive maximum credibility, he needs to demonstrate that he can perform anywhere in the world. Because Sullivan Barrera, the only top-rated contender to accept the challenge to face Artur, could not cross the Canadian border, we agreed to have this fight take place in the United States.

Joe Smith, Jr. Ring 8’s February Guest Speaker

NEW YORK (Février 13, 2017) – World-class light heavyweight boxer Joe “Le bombardier irlandais” Forgeron, Jr. will be Ring 8’s guest speaker Jeudi nuit, Février 23, at its monthly meeting, à partir de 7 p.m. ET, au restaurant Plattduetsche Park, situé à 1132 Hempstead Turnpike à Franklin Square, New York.

Undefeated Light-Heavyweight Prospect Ahmed Elbiali Back In The Gym After Year-Long Layoff, Targets March Return
MIAMI, FL (Février 9, 2017) – After fracturing his hand last year, unbeaten light heavyweight prospect, Ahmed Elbiali (14-0, 11 KOs), is back in the gym. Elbiali suffered the setback in his last bout against Andrew Hernandez, a fight that took place in January of 2016. The Miami based fighter is looking to come back in March, in a bout that most likely will be televised.
“The hand is one hundred percent healed and I’m ready to get back in the mix,” a déclaré Ahmed Elbiali. “It’s been over a year since I’ve been back in the ring, but during the time off, I really focused on staying in shape. I didn’t let the layoff affect me in a way where I was going to be depressed. I worked on a lot of other aspects of my game that I feel I’ve improved on. Now it’s time to get back in there and march toward a world title.”
Elibial was on the fast track to the top of the light heavyweight division. He started off his career with nine straight knockouts. Lors de ses deux derniers combats, both 8-round bouts, he’s went distance. That experience has helped him gain confidence in his ability to go deep in fights.
“When I first turned professional, I had a lot of early knockouts,” Elbiali poursuivi. “It was nice getting my opponent out of there early but I didn’t know who my body would react if I had to go deep into fights.
