MIAMI – November 21, 2017 - On the heels of a historic, first partnership together, Combate Americas and Telemundo Deportes announced today, the live broadcast on Telemundo, (12 a.m. IN/11 p.m. CT) of the worldwide premier Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sports franchise’s much-anticipated next event, headlined by a women’s showdown between fierce atomweight (105 funtov) rivals Kyra "Mogwai" Batara (6-4) in Paulina “Firefox” Granados(4-2), from the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas na Petek, December. 1.

The victor of the matchup between the 23-year-old Batara of Las Vegas, Nev. and the 29-year-old Granados of Corpus Christi, Texas – both unbeaten to date in La Jaula – will represent the U.S. against ferocious finisher Lisbeth “Coneja” Lopez Silva (5-3) in the first-ever Combate Americas Pan-Regional championship bout in February 2018.

Marroquin’s start will mark a drop from the featherweight division. The 22-year-old, who hails from Monterrey, Mexico, has produced seven of his eight career victories to date, by way of (T)KO ali predložitev.
