NAZRAN, Ingushetia, Russia (December 9, 2016) – Rising Russian MMA star Magomed Idriosov knocked out Ivan “Ili” Buchinger in the opening round of wa usikuuno M-1 Challenge 73: Nkhondo ya Narts main event to become M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion.

Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. M'kalata yake 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. The Russian is now undefeated in four M-1 Global fights having previously defeated Yuri Maia (KO1 – nkhonya) in the M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout ya Night, Max Coga (DEC3) and Sergej Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 pa M-1 Challenge 51.

A super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadani Emeev(14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and KO artist specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0) chifuniro mutu wakuti M-1 Challenge 73: Nkhondo ya Narts in a battle of elite Russian fighters.

Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 makilogalamu) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (pictured below).

A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Pa M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

Petersburg, Russia (January 27, 2016) – M-1 Global pulezidenti Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Ili” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Galuwamkulu” Morrison.
We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov pa M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui pa M-1 Challenge 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, kutenga lingaliro kuyambiraViktor Nemkov pa M-1 Challenge 46. Puetz successfully defended his title twice in 2014 motsutsa Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – kutsamwa) ndipo Valery Mykasnikov(KO/TKO2 – nkhonya). INGUSHETIA, Russia (June 7, 2015) – Last night at M-1 Challenge 58: Battle in the Mountains 4,Mural “Hunter” Abdulaev won a unanimous 5-round decision over Marcelo Brito to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge welterweight title, outdoors in Ingushetia, Russia.

 

Abdulaev (13-10, 6 KO / TKO, 2 Sub), akumenyana kuchokera Russia, remained unbeaten in M-1 Global competition with his third victory. Brito (13-6-0, 2 KO / TKO, 5 Sub), who replaced his injured Brazilian countryman Igor Fernandes, made his M-1 Global debut.

 

In main card action, Russian by way of Azerbaijan featherweight Tural Nizami (10-2-0, 4 KO / TKO, 5 Sub) anagonjetsa Antun “Wakupha” Racic (17-6-0, 0 KO / TKO, 13 Sub), la Croatia, by way of a late third-round submission via an arm-bar.
