Kyrgyzstan dominates competition Wins WMMAA team title at 2017 Asian Championships

مونٹی کارلو, موناکو (مئی 29, 2017)- Host team Kyrgyzstan captured top team honors at the recent third annual World Mixed Martial Arts Association (WMMAA) Asian Championships, recently held at Suyumbaev Stadium, Osh, کرغستان.
The wonderful host city of Osh is the second largest city in کرغستان, located in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country, often referred to as the “capital of the south”. It is the oldest city in the country, estimated to be more than 3000 پرانے سال, and it has served as the administrative center of Osh Region کے بعد 1939. The city has an ethnically mixed population of approximately 255,800, according to 2012 reports, comprised of Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Russians, Tajiks, and other smaller ethnic groups.
Ulukbek Omurzakov, the president of Kyrgyzstan MMA Federation, deserved kudos for insuring that the 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships would be held at the highest level in all respects.
In addition to Omurzakov, numerous highly-ranked guests were also present at the arena during competitions, including the Kyrgyzstan Republic President’s advisor, Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov, Vice Prime-Minister Zhenish Razzakov, Osh city Mayor Aitmamat Kadyrbaev, Minister of Interior Suyunbek Omurzakov, MP’s Aaly Karashev, Iskender Matraimov, WMMAA president Vadim Finkelchtein and many others.
WMMA Asian team champion Kyrgyzstan had seven individual male winners out of eight weight classes: bantamweight Ryskulbek Ibraimov, کا ہلکا پھلکا Nursultan Rakhmanberdi Uulu, ہلکا پھلکا Kubanychbek Turatbek Uulu, ویلٹر ویٹTologon Rakhmatov, مڈل Olzhobai Kudaiberdi Uulu, روشنی ہیویویٹOsman Abdulazizov ہیوی ویٹ Maksat Musabaev. The only non-Kyrgyzstan individual winner in the men’s competition was flyweight Zheng Xiao Liang, of China.
China and defending team champion Kazakhstan, بالترتیب, finished second and third in the final team standings. Other teams represented at the WMMAA Asian Championships included Uzbekistan, جنوبی کوریا, Afghanistan and Tajikistan
The 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships were held in 10 weight divisions, eight for male fighters, as well as two brand new divisions for female fighters, in which China won both weight classes.

Individual team competition was held in accordance with the “Official Rules of Mixed Martial Arts Competition, subject to WMMAA approval. مونٹی کارلو, موناکو (اپریل 19, 2016)- The second annual World MMA Association (WMMAA) Asian Championship will be held مئی 27-30 at Hwasoon Culture and Sports Center in the Republic of South Korea.
The Asian MMA Championship will feature the top amateur MMA fighters in six different weight classes.
“This year’s Asian MMA Championship is a significant milestone for our association,” WMMAA president Vadim Finkelchtein کہا. “We strive to educate people from each country in which we hold regional championships. This time will be no different with more people learning the beauty of Mixed Martial Arts. We’re also organizing a judges and referee seminar within a certification process. We are looking forward to this event and hope to have as many Asian countries participating as possible.”
An international judges’ seminar will be held مئی 24-27, to certify and accredit judges. Only accredit judges will be allowed to work during the Asian MMA Championships. Preliminary and semifinal matches will be May 28, followed by the championship final matches.

The Asia Division Congress: Battle of the Nomads of the WMMAA Pro Asian Division will be held مئی 29.
