He was trying to bait me into throwing with him and he’d try to catch me when I would come in, so I was trying to stay a lot more composed and show that I’m not that idiot that fought [Hisaki] Kato twice,” Schilling said. “I’ve made a lot of changes in my personal life. I’m a lot more focused and more serious and my goal aquesta nit was to show the level of competitor and world class kickboxer that I am and I think I did that. It’s a lot of fun to go at it with small gloves because people can’t use the big gloves as a shield to block my shots. I want to seize this Bellator Kickboxing title and continue to help build this kickboxing brand because I know they’re investing a lot of time into it. So yea, I’m definitely interested in crossing that bridge and getting some MMA fights, but my main focus is to take home that kickboxing gold.”

TORINO, ITÀLIA – Fighters from both Bellator 176: Carvalho vs. Manhoef 2 i Bellator Kickboxing 5 converged on the historic Comune di Torino for the official press conference for the events taking place at the Pala Alpitour in Torino, Itàlia. In addition to the fighters, President Bellator Scott Coker,, along with Okatagon President Carlo DiBlasi and Torino Minister of Sport Roberto Finardi, all spoke about Dissabte nights anticipated card.
Bellator 176: Carvalho vs. Manhoef 2 airs this Dissabte, Abril 8 per Spike en 3 p.m. I and will be immediately followed by Bellator Kickboxing 5, which airs at 5 p.m. I. Bellator 176 is headlined by a middleweight championship fight pitting Rafael Carvalho (13-1) contra Melvin Manhoef (30-13-1, 2 NC) and also features Russia’s Anastasia Yankova (4-0) versus Elina Kallionidou (5-1).
Bellator Kickboxing 5 will feature a lightweight bout between “The Doctor” Giorgio Petrosyan (83-2-2, 1NC), who takes on Romanian veteran Amansio Paraschiv (23-5-1) and Bellator Kickboxng Women’s Flyweight World Champion Denise Kielholtz (46-3), who is set to defend her belt for the first time against ISKA and WKU World Champion Martine Michieletto (34-12-5).

LOS ANGELES — (Març 14, 2017) – Following an undisclosed injury to Darrion Caldwell, budding superstar Leandro “Pitbull” Higo (17-2) will now challenge current champion Eduardo "Dudu" Dantas (19-4) in a bantamweight world title fight at Bellator 177: Dantas vs. Figainside the Budapest Sports Arena on Abril 14.
Addicionalment, John “Macapa”(21-1-2) s'enfrontarà a Daniel Weichel (38-9) in a featherweight contest and Lena Ovchynnikova (11-4) es reuneix Helen Harper (4-1) at 125-pounds. Rounding out the Spike-televised MMA action will be a featherweight matchup pitting Hungarian-born Adam “The Kid” Borics (5-0) contra Anthony “Pretty Boy” Taylor(1-2).
