Miguel Madueño to Fight in WBA Title Elimination Bout Against Jezzrel Corrales on March 12th

ARANCIONE, COME (Marzo 7, 2022) – Thompson Boxing’s unbeaten lightweight contender, Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño (27-0, 25 KO), who is known for his explosive power and exciting fights, now has the chance of a lifetime as he faces former world champion Jezzrel Corrales (25-4, 10 KO), in WBA lightweight title eliminator. The 12-round bout will take place at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City, Panama on March 12, 2022, on a “KO to Drugs” event hosted by the WBA.


The 23-year-old Madueño is looking to change his life forever as a win would put him in line to be a mandatory challenger for the WBA lightweight world champion, which is currently held by George Kambosos Jr. (20-0, 10 KO), one of the biggest names in the sport.


“I want to thank my promoter Thompson Boxing for guiding my career in such a great way,” said Madueño, who is currently riding a 13-fight knockout streak. “They provided a way to get in me in a position to display my skills to the world. This is my moment, and I will raise to the occasion as I want to be Thompson Boxing’s next great world champion.”

George “El YuYu” Acosta Speaks on Career Defining Win Against Gadwin Rosa

LOS ANGELES, COME (Maggio 10, 2021) – Thompson Boxing Promotions’ super featherweight prospect, George “El Yuyu” Acosta (12-1, 1 KO), picked a career-defining win this past Friday, Maggio 7, 2021, as he defeated Gadwin Rosa(11-2, 9 KO), at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. Con la vittoria, Acosta captured the vacant WBA Fedecentro Super Featherweight title. L'evento è stato promosso da All-Star Boxing and televised by Telemundo.

“I’m ready to step up and challenge all the top contenders at 130 libbre,” said Acosta. “I have never been one to call out names, but I know that I am deserving of a high-profile fight. I have fought above my weight for most of my career and took this fight on late notice and got the victory. Ruben Villa stops Mora in one for second straight first round knockout

Onatario, COME. (Settembre 23, 2016)–Heralded featherweight prospect Villa Ruben made it two-for-two in first round stoppages as he took out Jose Mora at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California.
Villa dropped Mora with a right hook, and then stepped on the gas with a flurry of power punches until the fight was stopped at 2:31.
Villa di Salinas, California now has two knockouts.
“Ruben has been very impressive in his first two outings,” ha detto Promozioni Banner presidente, Artie Pelullo. “We will have him back on November 4th on the undercard of our fight card in Corona, California.”

Corona, California (Maggio 26, 2015)--Memorial Day weekend iniziato con il botto come Andrey Fedosov e John Thompson furono incoronati Boxcino 2015 campioni della pesante e Jr. Divisioni medi con vittorie arresto totale oltre Donovan Dennis e Brandon Adams lo scorso Venerdì notte al Omega Prodotti Outdoor Arena.

L'evento è stato anche il finale di serie di ESPN Venerdì Night Fights.

Fedosov ha segnato un arresto rotondo 8 °, mentre Thompson scese la tela in tondo 1 a segnare un arresto 2 ° turno.

Corona, California (Maggio 22, 2015)-–Stasera alla Omega Prodotti Outdoor Arena, John Thompson (16-1, 5 KO) sembra per vincere la Boxcino Jr. Campionato middlweight quando assume Brandon Adams nel finale di ESPN Venerdì Night Fights.

Thompson ha pesato dentro a un pronto 153.2 a Giovedi di pesano e si guarda in forma privilegiata per vincere non solo il titolo, ma entrare nella classifica mondiale.
