“This is really a big fight for me. I know that Ashley Theophane is going to come to fight, because he has something to prove. He’s going to try to take my world title.
“A lot of people told me I wouldn’t be here. I come from nothing. Like cereal and water nothing. I’m very fortunate to have someone like Floyd to look up to. I don’t want to be like Floyd though, I don’t want to be like any man. I admire him and respect him, but I’m creating my legacy.

“I’m happy to be here and I truly believe this will be a very exciting fight. Adrien is a very young and explosive fighter. He’s a force in boxing right now.

A former world champion who represented the Dominican Republic in the 2004 Olympiade, Mendez now fights out of Brooklyn and is coming off of a victory over former champion Miguel Vazquez in October 2015. Mendez was victorious despite herniating two discs during training camp and needing epidural shots to be able to manage the pain. The 29-year-old won his world title by knocking out Juan Carlos Salgado, and owns victories over Martin Honorio, Cassius Baloyi, and Daniel Evangelista Jr.

Im Main Event, Brandon Bennett (19-1, 8 KO) wird Platz ab mit ehemaligen WM-Herausforderer Jonathan Maicelo (21-2, 12 KO) in einem leichten Anfall für 10 Runden angesetzt.
Maicelo von Callao, Peru, aber jetzt liegt in North Bergen, New Jersey ist nur sieben Monaten von herausfordernden Darleys Perez für die Interim WBA Lightweight-Meisterschaft entfernt. Im Main Event, Brandon Bennett (19-1, 8 KO) wird Platz ab mit ehemaligen WM-Herausforderer Jonathan Maicelo (21-2, 12 KO) in einem leichten Anfall für 10 Runden angesetzt.

Bennett von Cincinnati, Ohio hat hart trainiert für Maicelo, , die für eine Übergangs WM-Titel in Frage gestellt hat,.

“Training war gut. Ich an Gewicht für ein paar Tage gewesen,. Es ist gewesen 2 harte Monate, aber der schwierige Teil der Ausbildung und Diät ist vorbei und ich bin bereit zu kämpfen,” sagte Bennett.

Auf die Frage, fragte Maicelo, Bennett war nicht mit seinem Gegner betroffenen, trotz Maicelo mit Siegen über Art Hovhannisyan und ehemaligen WM-Herausforderer Fernando Angulo.

Bennett von Cincinnati, OH has a record of 19-1 mit 8 Knockouts. Die 27 year-old has been a professional for seven years and won his first 16 bouts which included a win over John Nater (9-1). Since suffering his only defeat, Bennett has won three in a row which has been highlighted with a with a win over previously undefeated Rodney Pierre-Paul (7-0) and his last bout when he stopped Rondale Hubbert (10-1-1) in three rounds on May 29 in Philadelphia.

Maicelo of North Bergen, NJ hat eine Aufzeichnung von 21-2 mit 12 Knockouts. He began his career in his native Peru in 2005. Welterweight Bryant Perella will take part in his first eight-round bout when he takes on tough German Perez.

“My first fight in Atlantic City is a dream come true. Next to Las Vegas it is the best place to fight and it motivated me throughout camp.”
In Perez, the fight is a step up as the Tijuana native is unbeaten in his last seven bouts and is already competed in an eight-round bout.
“For me to have my first eight round fight is a step up. This step up will really help me. I am going to relax and box then I will be able to break him down and get him out of there.”
Perella is dedicating the fight to 18-year old Devin Raynaer who recently passed away in a car accident.
“He was a friend of mine and I am dedicating this bout to him. I just want to thank my fans for supporting me and I am ready for an exciting fight.”
