In the main event and a rematch, Sergej Morozov (16-4), De #Kaza?io, fended off American challengerJosh “The Finisher” Rettinghouse (16-5), winning a five-round unanimous decision to successfully defend his M-1 Challenge bantamweight title.

Morozov won his fifth straight and sixth fight in his last seven since his original match and loss to Rettinghouse. Morozov captured the M-1 Challenge bantamweight title last June atM-1 Defio 102, also held in Nur-Sultan, when he stopped previously unbeatenalexander Osetrov en la kvara raŭndo.

Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. En lia 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. A super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev(14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and KO artist specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0) will headline M-1 Defio 73: Batalo de Narts in a battle of elite Russian fighters.

Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Defio 66 (pictured below).

A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Defio 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, batalante el Kazastanio, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Defio 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
