Pound-4-Pound Boxing Program sends 2017 USA Boxing Elite and Youth National Championships and Junior Open

LAS VEGAS, NV (Желтоқсан 4, 2017) – Eight members from the “Pound-4-Pound” Спорт залы, Las Vegas’ # 1 amateur boxing program, will compete in the 2017 USA Boxing Elite Youth National Championships & Junior Open. The five-day tournament will take place in Salt Lake City, ШЫҚТЫ, at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center, more commonly known as the Salt Palace, starting December 5ші through December 9ші.
Only the best boxers from around the United States will compete to see who is the best amateur boxer in the nation. Барлық 15 мен 16 year-olds who win this tournament will make the USA Boxing Team. All others will be ranked #1 in their respective weight classes.
“This is the big tournament that our team has been waiting to participate in,” said Pound-4-Pound head coach Richard Barrientes. “Only the elite amateur fighters from around the country will be competing. All my kids have worked extremely hard to get here. I’m very proud of this group and everyone knows what it’s going to take to come out on top. Pound-4-Pound Boxing Program sends Jordan Aguilar and Leslie Soto to Elite Qualifier
LAS VEGAS, NV (Қазан 12, 2017) – On the week of October 16th-21st, two of the rising stars of the “Pound-4-Pound” boxing gym in Las Vegas, Невада, Jordan Aguilar, 19 years-old fighting in the 108 фунт. division as well as Leslie Soto, 18 years-old in the 125 фунт, will compete at The Eastern Elite Qualifier and Regional Open Championships held at the Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee for a national title.
The event will feature the very best fighters from across the United States and features many future stars of the division with Jordan Aguilar and Leslie Soto at the top of the list of the talent heading into next weekend’s event.
Jordan Aguilar, a well-respected amateur, who has fought in numerous national competitions is looking to show his experience and poise as one of the favorites heading into the event.
Leslie Soto also a seasoned veteran will be looking to show why her aggressive style has drawn the attention of many who have seen her in the gym. She is currently ranked #3 by USA Boxing.
“I am impressed with them every day and excited for them to see what their hard work gets them,” said head coach Richard Barrientes. “This is a major tournament with the best fighters from around the country. All fighters who come out on top will qualify to compete in the 2017 Elite National Championships in December”

LAS VEGAS, NV (Маусым 28, 2017) – The Pound-4-Pound Boxing program out of Las Vegas, had another successful outing this past weekend at the Roy Jones Jr. “Future Stars of Boxing” tournament that took place at the Sam’s Town Casino in Las Vegas. Out of the 15 active participants, 11 came home with championship belts.
“Our program had another fantastic showing this past weekend,” said coach Richard Barrientes. “Like I’ve always said, it’s about building self-esteem with these kids. They’re a great group from top to bottom. I’m very proud of our team and we are looking forward to the next tournament. Our main goal is to enter in as many tournaments as possible before the end of the year.”
