LOWELL, Massa. (Janeiro 29, 2016) – For the second week in a row all 13 matches went the three-round distance in last night’s Central New England (Greater Lowell) semifinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, featuring open and novice class action, no histórico Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Returning New England welterweight champion Xavier Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing in Lawrence (MA), era um 4-1 winner against Michael Fontenez, de Nashua, NH.
Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston led the hit parade with three winners, all in the novice class: leve Jonathan Depina, welterweight Lipi Fernandes e médios Brian Lawrence. The Lowell West End Gym was the only other with more than one winner last night, both in the open class, leve Brandon Higgins and light welterweight Jeremiah Perez.
