LOWELL, Masa. (Janvāris 29, 2016) – For the second week in a row all 13 matches went the three-round distance in last night’s Central New England (Lielāka Lowell) semifinals round of the 70th annual Lowell Sun Charities Golden Gloves Championship, featuring open and novice class action, at historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
Returning New England welterweight champion Xavier Vega, representing Canal Street Boxing in Lawrence (MA), bija 4-1 winner against Michael Fontenez, no Nashua, NH.
Peter Welch’s Gym in South Boston led the hit parade with three winners, all in the novice class: viegls Jonathan Depina, papildsvars Lipi Fernandes un middleweight Brian Lawrence. The Lowell West End Gym was the only other with more than one winner last night, both in the open class, viegls Brandon Higgins and light welterweight Jeremiah Perez.
