A tall welterweight at 6′ 2″, James is undefeated as a pro with victories over Wayne Martell, Angel Hernandez and Mohammed Kayongo to his name. The 27-year-old out of Minneapolis has had a big 2015 that began with victories over Michael Balasi and Daniel Sostre and culminated with a hard fought decision over Juan Carlos Abreu in September. He will look to keep that momentum going when he fights in California for the first time as a pro on January 19.
A 2008 U.S. Olympian, the 25-year-old has an opportunity to make an impact in the welterweight division when he goes up against his stiffest test to date. He comes from a fighting family that includes his twin brother Oscar, e 2012 Mexico Olympian, and older brother Carlos. Fighting out of nearby Commerce, California, Molina stopped Lenwood Dozier in his last bout and has won eight fights in a row dating back to 2012.
