SUGAR PROMOTIONS SIGNS TV DEAL WITH STADIUM VIEW NETWORK

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (Abril 4, 2018)açúcar Promoções, em associação com Stadium View Network (SVN), is happy to announce its partnership with the government of Mexico in Aguascalientes, to broadcast it’s boxing shows to the United States market.

 

 

 

 

The first event titled, Feria de Campeones, will take place at the world-famous Plaza de Toros San Marcos in Aguascalientes, MX, em abril 28, 2018, during the Feria de San Marcos festival. The government of Mexico will produce all Sugar Promotionsboxing events in Aguascalientes, and provide a satellite signal to (SVN), who will distribute the content to its network in the U.S.

 

 

 

 

The main event will showcase local hero, Humberto “Tito” Velazco (19-1-1, 13 KOs), who will fight for the vacant WBC Silver Super Middleweight title. No co-main event, Damien “Açúcar” Vazquez (13-0, 7 KOs), de Las Vegas, NV, will fight for the WBC Jr. Bantamweight Youth World título. In two special feature attractions, local fan favorite, Issac “Canelito” Avelar (14-0, 9 KOs) will defend his WBC FECOMBOX Featherweight title, enquanto Maryan Salazar (7-2) will battle for the WBC FECOMBOX Light Flyweight belt. Opponents for all four fights will be announced on a later date, along with other undercard bouts.

Com 1,200 locations, Stadium View Network (SVN) is a satellite-delivered television channel featuring programming designed specifically for the sports bar and hospitality industry. SVN’s channel provides ambient programming featuring action-oriented video segments. The ambient programming will be pre-emptible at the subscriber’s election with PPV events transmitted by SVN. Stadium View Network’s capabilities include planning and managing ad-hoc and full-time networks, encryption services, and programming signal delivery on both a domestic and international level.

Featherweight title with a TKO victory over Alejandro Frias (6-3-1, 3 KOs).
Avelar, a southpaw who was fighting in front of his hometown fans, applied pressure from the opening bell, forcing Frias to fight going backwards. Avelar used a lot of faints to keep Frias off balance, giving him opportunities to a land a lot of power shots. In the middle rounds, Avelar was overpowering the taller Frias, forcing him fight off the ropes. As the fight entered the later rounds, Frias was starting to fade, as Avelar maintained a steady attack. In the tenth and final round, Avelar landed a flurry of punches to the head and body of Frias, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the .40 segunda marca. Avelar, que é gerido pelo Greg Hannely, do Prince Ranch Boxing, permaneceu invicto.
I wanted to give my hometown fans a great victory,” disse Issac Avelar. “Capturing the WBC FECOMBOX title is a goal I set for myself at the beginning of this year. In the 8-round co-main event, NABF Junior Flyweight champion, Damien “Açúcar” Vazquez (13-0, 6 KOs), remained undefeated with at fifth round knockout over Miguel Lizardo (0-2-1). Vazquez was landing at will and wobbled Lizardo in round three. Vazquez stayed patient and used a nice counter punching attack to dominate the fight. A straight left in round five sent Lizardo to the deck, terminando a luta no 1:57 marca.

6-round Super Flyweight Female Bout
In a very competitive action fight, Cristina Mora (7-0-2, 4 KOs) e Gabriela Sanchez (3-2-1) battled for six hard rounds. Mora used her superior boxing skills to land clean shots from a distance. Sanchez had her moments as she used her pressure style to get inside of Mora, landing some nice power shots. More landed a straight right in round two that bloodied the nose of Sanchez, who was bleeding the rest of the fight. Mora edged Sanchez in the later rounds giving her a split decision victory. scorecards ler 58-55, 57-56 for Mora and 57-56 for Sanchez. Mora remains undefeated.
6-round Featherweight Bout
Local native edwing Davila (17-0, 10 KOs) derrotado Carlos Rocha (3-2-1) with an impressive fourth round TKO. Davila dropped Rocha in round three with a vicious body shot. Rocha survived the round only to get stopped after being dropped three time in round four. Fight was stopped at the 2:24 mark of round four.
6-round Super Lightweight Bout
Denver Colorado’s Donovan Estrela (11-0, 4 KOs) remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory against Antonio Camacho (1-5, 1 KO). Estrella controlled the fight with precise punching, lateral movement and a constant body attack. scorecards ler 60-54 duas vezes, 59-55.
4-round Light Flyweight Female Bout
In an all-out war, Mayran Salazar (7-2) derrotado Naomi Arellano (4-1, 1 KO) por decisão unânime. Arellano, who suffered her first loss, was in every round, but was out gunned by Salazar, who landed the cleaner shots. 4-round Light Heavyweight Bout
Las Vegas’ Kye Brooks melhorou a (2-0, 2 KO) with a devastating first round KO over Antonio Reyes, who was making his pro debut. A left-hook, right hand combo sent Reyes to the canvas in the opening minuet. After Reyes got up, Brooks then ended the bout with a powerful straight right hand. The bout was stopped at the 1:47 marca de uma rodada.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Outubro 17, 2017) – Perspectivas invicto, super-flyweight Damien “Açúcar” Vazquez (12-0, 6 KOs), superleve, Blair “O charme” Cobbs (7-0, 5 KOs), and light-heavyweight Tye Brooks (1-0, 1 KO), all who fight under the Príncipe Rancho Boxe (PRB) management banner, were victorious this past Sábado at the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, México. The card was promoted by Damien Vazquez’s “açúcar Promoções” in associations with Malibu Films e SOBA Recovery Centers.
In the scheduled 8-round main event, Damien Vazquez, stopped his opponent Ivan Galicia Morelos, retiring the Mexican native who didn’t come out for the fifth round. Blair Cobbs went the distance with Hugo Padilla, winning a unanimous 6-round decision. Tye Brooks won his pro debut with a first round knockout over Ivan Najera. New signee’s, flyweight Maryan Salazar (6-2, 4 KOs) and lightweight Issac Avelar (13-0, 8 KOs) were also victorious. Avelar went the distance for the first time winning an 8-round unanimous decision, while Salazar won a 4-round unanimous decision.
