In the 6-round main event, James Cantu (11-0, 4 KOs), vaincu Jairo Castaneda (9-1, 3 KOs), par décision unanime, to remain undefeated in the welterweight division. Cantu, with his aggressive style, took the fight to the inside, making it uncomfortable for Castaneda throughout the whole bout. Although Castaneda had his moments, Cantu was the busier fighter who landed the cleaner shots. Scorecards lus 59-54 deux fois, et 57-56, all in favor of Cantu, who recorded his second fight in four years.
The 4-round co-main event showcased Daniel “da Beast” Balcer (13-1, 5 KOs) contre Isai Mireles (8-9, 6 KOs). Baiz dropped Mireles with a left hook to the body in round two, before cruising to a unanimous decision victory. Scorecards lus 40-35 across the board for Baiz.

Velazco, who hails from Aguascalientes, Mexique, rallied from an early first round knockdown, which was more of an off-balance circumstance. Velazco wasn’t hurt and evened the score in the second round with his own knockdown, catching Williams with a short right to the face, a punch he didn’t see coming. Williams survived the round but was walking on wobbly legs. Now in a rhythm, Velazco’s timing was on point as he sent Williams to the deck for the second time in round three, this time hurting him badly with combination of punches.
