Jersey City, Nova Jersey (Gener 29, 2015)-UMC Jr. Welter Danny “Little Mac” McDermott ha anunciat avui la formació d'un nou Boxa Empresa Promoció que es basa fora de la seva ciutat natal a Jersey City NJ.
McDermott s'ha associat amb l'empresari local Nick Jayme per formar LGM Promotions
LGM també ha anunciat avui que posarà en el seu primer xou “els punys de la lluita contra l'irlandès” en l'Armory Jersey City a Dissabte 14 de març amb McDermott com a cap de cartell de la targeta en una defensa del títol que va capturar el passat mes de juliol a Gensan City, Filipines.
“Estic molt emocionat de començar aquesta empresa. Launching it on the tenth anniversary of my pro debut makes it that much sweeter. This is something that I have been thinking about for some time now. M'encanta la boxa. It is my life. It just makes a lot of sense for us right now to begin to prepare for a life after boxing and what better way then be able to put on a fight in my own hometown.” dir McDermott.
Sr. Jayme is a longtime friend of the McDermott’s and is former amateur boxer himself. He is an active community servant in the Jersey City area.
“Sempre m'ha agradat la boxa i tinc una passió per l'esport. I came up in the amateurs with Danny and have known him for many years.
“Fa poc vaig tornar a connectar amb la boxa després de fer un esdeveniment amb Miguel Cotto i això és quan em vaig decidir a formar Promocions LGM.”
“Busquem fer 4 o 5 esdeveniments aquest any a la comunitat. I am a big believer in the Hudson County community. LGM is Jersey City based and that’s where we are basing our roots.”
“Març 14 està a punt de celebrar la Desfilada de l'Herència irlandesa. We are working close with the Jersey City Irish Parade committee. They are having their dinner on Març 13. We are doing the fight on Març 14 i després la desfilada és a Març 15. This event is all about celebrating St. Dia de Patrick, va dir el Sr Jayme.”

Sr. Jayma també va afegir “També vam establir una aliança estratègica amb Mariusz Kolodziej i el seu grup a Mundial de Boxa a North Bergen. Mariusz i Danny es remunten molt de temps. Ell és un gran amic d'aquest esport en més d'un nivell local.
“These first events will be Jersey City ethnic based with family friendly ticket pricing and family friendly concessions,”
“Volem que tota la comunitat per abraçar. We will make it affordable for a guy to bring his kids to the fights and have a few hot dogs with a couple of sodas and maybe a beer or two without breaking the bank” acabat Jayme.
“I’m excited to help. Danny is family. Danny is my guy. Ell sempre va ser i sempre serà. I’m proud of all he has done in the last year or two.
