SANTA MONICA, CALIF. — (Desembre 28, 2016) – The stacked main card of "Bellator 170: Ortiz vs.. Sonnen ” has added even more ammo to its arsenal with the news that Derek Camps (17-6) i Derek Anderson (14-2, 1 NC) will compete in a lightweight feature fight on Gener 21, 2017 inside The Forum in Los Angeles, Califòrnia. The recently signed Schneider will be making her Bellator MMA debut on Jan. 21, as she also enters the contest having won four of her last five bouts. The historic event airs FREE on SPIKE Divendres, Novembre 11 a 9 p.m. I/8 p.m. Connecticut.

The stacked main card is headlined by a must-see welterweight world title main event pitting current champion Andrey Koreshkov (19-1) contra Douglas Lima (27-6). Scott Coker on the groundbreaking Bellator event in Israel: “This event started about 18 months ago when we came over here to say hello to our international partners Annaney Communications and EGO TOTAL. We sat down with them and they said ‘Hey, there are a lot of great martial artists here. Why don’t we go meet with some of the gyms?’ So, we went to some of the gyms across Tel Aviv where they hosted a nice tryout. We had about 60-70 athletes participate and Royce (Gracie) would say ‘I think this guy could be good. I think this girl could be good. I think that these are some of the talented fighters that you could bring into Bellator.’ From there we started talking about the venues, and talking about the infrastructure of how we could pull of an event of this magnitude here in this city. We have put together an amazing team of people out here that have done a great job helping make this possible. I’ve been in the fight business for 31 anys, promoting fights all over the world, but this is one that is really a big feather in our cap. Estic molt, really excited to be here in Israel promoting our inaugural event, and we already have a date set for next year. We will be back, and we’d like to make this an annual stop for the company.

The loss is only the third of Jenkins’ young career and second of the first round variety, both of which Karakhanyan is now responsible for. The win is the fifth knockout of Karakhanyan’s career and is his third in the opening frame.

McKee Remains Undefeated With Impressive Guillotine Finish

In the opening contest at "Bellator 160: Henderson vs. Pitbull," A. J. “Mercenary” McKee (5-0) remained unbeaten with a guillotine choke submission 32 segons a la segona ronda. After beginning his career 7-1 com a aficionat, the 21-year-old “Mercenary” has made a splash on the professional circuit, recording a perfect 4-0 mark through his first four bouts. Machida, the elder brother of former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida, has only fought five times in his career, but is currently riding a two-fight winning streak.
