George “El YuYu” Acosta Speaks on Career Defining Win Against Gadwin Rosa

LOS ANGELES, SEPERTI (Mei 10, 2021) – Thompson Tinju Promosi’ super featherweight prospect, George “El Yuyu” Acosta (12-1, 1 KO), picked a career-defining win this past Friday, Mei 7, 2021, as he defeated Gadwin Rosa(11-2, 9 Biaya), at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. Former super lightweight world title contender, Peter “Zar” Petrov (41-6-2, 22 Biaya), who was scheduled to open up the show, is now off the card.

The 8-round main event featuring Ruben “Ace” Torres (14-0, 11 Biaya) vs. Diego Contreras (11-3, 5 Biaya), will remain intact. Fighting under the Roc Nation banner, Younan was a highly-decorated amateur boxer, compiling an outstanding 90-5 catatan. Given his success, Younan elected to turn pro in 2013 as an 18-year-old, rather than wait several years for an opportunity to qualify for the U.S. Olimpiade Tinju Tim.
Younan started boxing competitively as an eight-year-old and, hanya dua tahun kemudian, The New York Times crowned him a “boxing prodigy”. With a win by way of a four-round unanimous decision, Younan improved his unblemished record to 8-0.

Three of Younan’s last four fights have ended in the opening round, including his most recent on Bulan Juni 17 on the Andre Ward-Sergey Kovalev 2 undercard at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The Brooklyn bomber made quick work of the Hungarian veteran Zoltan Sera (28-14, 20 Biaya) pada 1:39 tanda.
