The 8-round co-main event will now showcase Mexican power puncher, Miguel “El Explosivo” Madueño (22-0, 20 KOs) vs. Bergman Aguilar (15-6-1, 5 KOs). The opening bout will stage TBP’s George “El YuYu” Acosta (10-1, 1 KO) vs. Edgar “Pito Lupillo” Ραμίρεζ (17-16-1, 14 KOs) in super lightweight bout scheduled for 6-rounds.

The 5′ 4″ Williams (12-0, 5 KOs), fighting out of New Haven (CT), exploded with pin-point accuracy, also displaying his new-found power, dropping Gonzalez 30-8, 26 KOs), of Nicaragua, three time in the first round. The crafty southpaw finished off his more experienced opponent with a perfectly placed right-left combination, right on the button, for his third and final knockdown. Referee Raul Caiz, Jr. waved off the action, not bothering to count, as Gonzalez lay vertical on his back in dire straits.
“I prepared well for this fight and anything can happen when I work hard,” Williams remarked after his third consecutive knockout victory. “I felt his power early with a body shot but I stayed focused.
“I can deal with anybody in my division. I want to fight Ο Lee Selby (IBF featherweight world champion), or any of the world champions, but none will fight me. I really want Γκάρι Ράσελ (WBC champion); Είμαι εδώ, Gary. It’ll be target practice for me.”

Fighting under the Roc Nation banner, Younan was a highly-decorated amateur boxer, compiling an outstanding 90-5 ρεκόρ. Given his success, Younan elected to turn pro in 2013 as an 18-year-old, rather than wait several years for an opportunity to qualify for the U.S. Ολυμπιακής Ομάδας Πυγμαχίας.
Younan started boxing competitively as an eight-year-old and, μόνο two years later, The New York Times crowned him a “boxing prodigy”. Nagging injuries somewhat curtailed Younan’s development, limiting him to one fight in 2015. In his first fight under the Roc Nation Sports banner, Williams dominated Eduardo Garza (6-1) en route to an eight-round unanimous decision.in the CBS Sports Network co-featured event in Wichita, Kansas last March.

In his last fight on the Andre Ward-Sergey Kovalev II card at Mandalay Bay, Williams produced the most signature victory to date, stopping former NABO, WBC US and California State super featherweight champion Christopher Martin (30-8-3) στο δεύτερο γύρο.

Williams first began boxing at the age of nine, accumulating an impressive record of 97-10 over his amateur career.
