Irish amateur standout Tommy Hyde turning pro April 2nd at home in Cork

CORK, Airija (Vasaris 10, 2022) – Three-time Ireland National Champion Tommy Hyde will turn professional April 2II at home in Ballyvolane, Kamštis, on a show at The Big Top, Glen GGA Grounds, promoted by his father, renown international boxing manager Gary Hyde.
The 22-year-old Hyde, who participated in more than 100 amateur matches, reached the quarterfinals of the prestigious World Junior Championships in 2015. He was a 9-time National finalist, captured top honors at the 2019 Harringey Box Cup, and was a 3-time Celtic Bux Cup gold medalist.

“Since I started boxing at the age of seven,” the heavy-handed light heavyweight said, “it’s been my dream to box as a professional in Cork, Airija. I grew up going to world championship shows all over the world and I’ve always wanted to fight at that level. Balandžio 2II, I will take the first step in getting there. I’ve had more than 100 amateur fights and feel it’s time to make the move to the pros and fulfill my lifelong dream.”

Hyde is training in Springfield, Masačusetsas, under Hector Bermudez, who has trained world champions TJ Doheny, Jonathanas Guzman, Carlos Gongora, Vince Phillips, Ryad Merhy and Javier Fortuna.

European Super Featherweight Champion Samir Ziani calls out Tevin Farmer: “Farmer has chickened out” of WBC Eliminator

PARYŽIUS, Prancūzija (Balandis 18, 2021) – European Super Featherweight Champion Samir Ziani (32-3-1, 7 Kos) has called out Tevin “American Idol” Farmer (30-5-1, 6 Kos), former International Boxing Federation World Super Featherweight Champion, to fight June 5oji for the WBC Silver belt in a World Boxing Council (WBC) pašalinimo kova. Decorated amateur boxer Mohammed Rabii To make pro debut Feb. 18 at home in Morocco

CASABLANCA, Marokas (Gruodis 21, 2016) – Moroccan amateur boxing sensation Mohammed Rabii will make his long anticipated professional debut Vasaris 18, fighting at home in Casablanca, at the Complexe de Sportif Mohammed V Arena.
The 23-year-old Rabii represented Morocco at this year’s Olympic Games in Brazil, where he captured a bronze medal in the welterweight division, losing a disputed decision (0-3) in the semifinals to Uzebek boxer Shakhram Giyasov, who then lost (0-3) in the championship final to Daniyar Yeleussinov. Rabii had defeated Yeleussinov, Kazachstano, in the gold-medal championship bout of the AIBA World Amateur Championships. An average of 6 million Moroccans viewed each of Rabbi’s Olympic matches, providing testimony to his celebrity status back home.
A gifted orthodox fighter, Rabii was the past World Series of Boxing Fighter of the Year, who signed an exclusive, multi-year managerial contract last October with Nowhere2Hyde Management, which is owned and operated by international manager Gary Haid, of Cork, Airija.
“We are delighted to have signed one of the best amateur boxers in the world,” Haid sakė. “Mohammed has a great style with knockout power in both hands. Irish Heavyweight Sensation Con Sheenan to fight July 28

Torontas, Ontarijo, Kanada (Birželis 15, 2016) – Six-time Irish amateur champion Cornelius “Con” Sheehan is set to make his Canadian debut against an opponent to be named Ketvirtadienis, Liepa 28 at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Ontarijo.

Boxing’s most avoided world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux heading to UK next month To publically confront Scott Quigg

CORK, Airija (Balandis 12, 2015) – Unified super bantamweight world champion Sąskaita “Šakalas” Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 Kos), arguably the most avoided reigning world title holder in modern boxing history, will travel to London next month in order to publicly confront his mandatory challenger, Scott QUIGG (30-0-2, 22 Kos), the World Boxing Association (WBA) “reguliarus” 122-svaras padalinys titlist.

 

A month ago in an unusual move, Rigondeaux’ vadybininkas Gary Haid formally petitioned the WBA to enforce a mandatory title fight between his WBA Super champion and Quigg. Hyde is awaiting the WBA’s decision. Rigondeaux is also the World Boxing Organization (WBO) ir Žiedas žurnalo super Gaidys čempionas.

“QUIGG, Santa Cruz and Frampton have showed no desire to challenge Rigondeaux,” Haid sakė. “These three fighters are trying to fool the public into believing that fight Nėra. 1 guy in the world is not important. They’re all much more content to hold onto their belts than beating The Man in their weight class.”

 

Next month, Hyde reports, Rigondeaux will travel to the United Kingdom in a bold attempt to embarrass Quigg into fighting him. “I don’t like traveling overseas unless I have a fight lined up,” Rigondeaux explained, “but I will travel to England in May to publicly call out Scott Quigg. If he turns down the chance to fight our WBA mandatory, he will be remembered for that instead of being known as a great fighter. While I’m in the UK, I will also go to Belfast to checkout Carl Frampton to ask if he wants to prove himself against the best in his division.”

 

Understanding that the top super bantamweight action is currently in Europe, noting a record purse ($2.2 million USD) offered for a Frampton vs. Quigg fight, Rigondeaux is considering a major change in the not too distant future, moving his base from Miami to the UK, if that’s what it takes for him to get in on the action.

CORK, Airija (Vasaris. 18, 2015) – Tarptautinė bokso vadybininkas Gary Haid(NoWhere2Hyde valdymas) paskelbė viena iš geriausiai Airija gimusių sunkiasvoriai perspektyvas pasirašymo per pastaruosius dešimtmečius, “Airių” Su Sheehan, išskirtinei sutarties.

 

25-metų Sheehan, kas registruotas puikus 203-18 mėgėjų įrašas, planuojama atlikti savo profesinę debiutavo Kovas 13 Jungtinėje Karalystėje dėl šou eteriui Eurosport. Tvirtas dar atletiškas airis iš Clonmel, didžiausias miestelis Tipperary apskritis, planuoja prisijungti prie vienos iš jo buvusių Airijos nacionalinių komandos, nenugalėtas IBF Gaidys čempionas Carl Frampton, kaip pasaulio čempionas ir ne pernelyg tolimoje ateityje.

 

6′ 5″, 235-svaras Sheehan šešiskart Airijos nacionalinė vyresnysis skyrius čempionas, laimėjo keturis titulus sunkiasvoris ir du super sunkiasvoris, kuris taip pat laimėjo aukso medalį prestižiniame Europos čempionate. Į 2008, jis tapo jauniausiu Airijos vyresnysis sunkiasvoris čempionas ne konkurso amžius 18, Jis laimėjo iš viso 13 Airijos čempionatai įvairių lygių konkurencijos.
