With New Management Team, Andrey Fedosov looks to get back into Heavyweight Title contention

Philadelphia, PENN / MANHOLE, ILL. (Hōngongoi 9, 2018)–On June 30th, in Phoenix, Arizona, taumahamaha Andrey Fedosov (30-3, 25 Koó) returned to the ring with a 1st round stoppage over Francisco Mireles.

 

 

 

Te 32 year-old Fedosov was making his 1st start under his new management team, Journeyman Management.

 

 

 

With his new managers, Journeyman Management headed by longtime boxing man, Andrew Zak, along with promoters Banner Promotions and Hitz Boxing, Fedosov will look to position himself in the suddenly hot heavyweight division.

 

 

 

“It took some time, but now he is with his new family,” said Andrew Zak of Journeyman Management.

 

 

 

“Not only does he have a new management team, but now a new trainer in Buddy McGirt. We see him becoming a complete fighter. He is learning a lot from Buddy. And now that he is with our team, he is adding a lot to his game, and we see him being a world champion.”

Andrey Fedosov returns with 1st round knockout in Phoenix

Philadelphia, PENN / MANHOLE, ILL. (Hōngongoi 2, 2018)–Heavyweight contender and Boxcino Heavyweight champion, Andrey Fedosov (30-3, 25 Koó) returned to the ring with a 1st round stoppage over Francisco Mireles in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

 

Fedosov of Russia, made quick work of Mireles and will be back in the ring later this month.

 

 

 

“It was great to have Andrey back in the ring,” said Artie Pelullo, Peresideni o Kara Whakatairanga, who along with Hitz Boxing, promote the 32 year-old Fedosov.

 

 

 

“The heavyweight division is hot now with a lot of great opportunities, and with another win or two, we can see Andrey in a big fight.”

 

 

 

“I am happy that Andrey is back in the ring, and in a short time, he will be back in contention to compete for the heavyweight championship of the world,” said Bobby Hitz, President of Hitz Boxing.

NEW ENGLAND FIGHTS ANNOUNCES THE RESULTS FROM LEWISTON

Lewiston, Maine (Pipiri 18, 2016) - New Ingarangi whawhai (Nef) held the fight promotion’s latest event, “Nef 24: PROMISED LAND” i runga i Rāhoroi po i te Androscoggin Bank Colisée i Lewiston, Maine. The event featured a full slate of professional boxing, amateur mixed-martial-arts (MMA) and professional MMA bouts. Fatata 2,000 packed the hallowed halls where Muhammad Ali once defended the heavyweight championship of the world against Sonny Liston. A special video tribute was presented honoring Ali prior to the beginning of the event.

 

For the second time since April, Brandon Berry (11-2-1) a James Lester(11-9-1) haere te tawhiti. Tenei wā, unlike the last bout which was scored a draw, there was a winner. Lester is travelling back to his hometown of Detroit, Michigan the new Northeast Junior Welterweight Boxing Champion after winning a unanimous decision.

 

Alex Walker (1-1) a Nicole Burgess (0-1) kept alive the tradition of women’s fights stealing the show at NEF events. The two athletes battled back and forth in what can only be described as a “thriller” before a deafening crowd. Walker picked up the first win of her MMA career via an armbar submission in the third round.
