LAS VEGAS (Març 16, 2017) El Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundació (TFMJF) successfully held their 3rd Annual Fight-4-Fitness 5K RUN, 2K WALK, KIDS FUN RUN, & Dia de la Comunitat aquest passat Diumenge, at Sunset Park. The goal each year for Fight-4-Fitness is to support the movement toward more active and healthy lifestyles, while forming community alliances where awareness and empowerment serve as the nucleus for an improved quality of life.
“It was important that we put together an event promoting health and fitness awareness and that we got the families involved,” va dir Nicole Craig, President of The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundació.
Fight-4-Fitness followed its tradition and was kicked off with the 5K race and 2K walk, shortly after, kids lined up at the start line to begin the KIDS FUN RUN. 5K participants were awarded by gender and age group categories 1st a través de 3rd place, while all kids participating in the KIDS FUN RUN were awarded with a participation medal upon crossing the finish line. Children ages 12 and under had the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt, where they were challenged to find items hid throughout the park, la 1st-3rd winning group were presented with great prizes from contributing sponsors: Mayweather Promotions, TMT, GameWorks Las Vegas, and Pole Position.
Immediately following the races was the 3rd Annual Community Day to close the event. Community Day featured outstanding live performances from Las Vegas’ very own Prodigy Dance Group and The Monster Kids. Providing music throughout the event was Las Vegas resident DJ, D-Miles, while HOT 97.5’s Mike P emcee’d the event and kept the crowd entertained. Participants were chosen throughout the event winning prizes ranging from: gift cards, signed boxing gloves, merchandise packs, and a 50/50 cash prize!
A new addition to this year’s event was awarding local Las Vegas Track Clubs with a cash donation prize based on the number of registrants who signed up for their respective club. The first place was awarded to The BG Gators track club, second place went to Vegas Stealth, and coming in third place was the SW Stallions .

The festivities will start off with a 5K race and 2K walk, the Kids Fun Run will follow with Community Day serving as the last event of the day. The races are followed by an awards ceremony honoring the top 5K Race participants in each age category.
Fight-4-Fitness will also feature great healthy food options, vendors, a merchandise booth, kids scavenger hunt, live performances, physical activities geared toward fitness and fun, PLUS MORE! LAS VEGAS (Febrer 25, 2016) El Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundació (TFMJF) s'enorgulleix a presentar la 2ndAnnual Fight 4 Fitness 5K Race, 2K Walk, Kids Fun Run, and Community Day tenint lloc Diumenge, Abril 17a Sunset Park a Las Vegas. Participants can warm-up before the race with a free yoga session courtesy of Power Yoga+Pilates+Fitness, prior to the start of the 5K Race and 2K Walk, which will begin at 8 a.m. Children can take part in a fun-filled scavenger hunt before the Kids Fun Run (una milla i mitja d'execució per als nens 12 i sota) which kicks off at 10 a.m. The race is followed by an awards ceremony honoring all of the 5K Race participants. The event’s presenting sponsors are Mayweather Promotions, Mayweather Sports, The Money Team and SHOWTIME.
Més que 500 people participated in the activities last year and another large, energetic crowd is expected this year. Philanthropist and comedian Rick Smith, who used his platform to form the Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere (RAKE) Fundació, will host this year’s event.
Lluita 4 Aptitud will also feature live performances from 11-year-old singer-songwriter Sunny Malouf and Dance Connection, plus free Zumba sessions from Zumba Las Vegas. Addicionalment, there will be a boxing ring where anyone will be able to learn some tricks of the trade from Mayweather Promotions’ estrelles.
“My foundation genuinely cares about the Las Vegas community and we are honored to be able to bring this great event to the city once again,” dir Mayweather. “Being active is so important to living a healthy life. We hope to once again spread this positive message and encourage people of all ages to exercise and live healthy lives.”
TFMJF donated $25,000 last year to the Clark County School District that was divided amongst designated schools for support of athletic programs, physical education and related field trips.

Las Vegas (Set. 23, 2015) – Another memorable Titans de l'esmorzar Comerç de Campions està en els llibres com la sisena entrega de la lluita dies tradició Floyd Mayweather, que va tenir lloc el dissabte, Set. 12 al MGM Grand de Las Vegas presentat per Mayweather Promotions, com a resultat d'un matí d'excel·lents discursos, la creació de xarxes i el reconeixement d'algunes de les dones més influents i formidables en la indústria de l'esport.

LAS VEGAS (Febrer. 16, 2015) El Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fundació (FMJF) s'enorgulleix a presentar la Lluita 4 Aptitud 5K Run / Walk 2K, Kids Fun Run i Dia de la Comunitat que tindrà lloc Dissabte, Abril 19 a Sunset Park a Las Vegas.

 

El 5K Run / Walk i 2K Kids Fun Run (una milla i mitja d'execució per als nens 12 i sota) comença a les 8 a.m. i és seguida per una cerimònia de premis en honor a tots els participants. L'esdeveniment del Dia de la Comunitat immediatament després de la cerimònia del premi inclourà menjar, música, jocs, premis sortejats i expositors de salut i fitness que ofereixen els seus serveis per millorar els seus objectius de fitness.

La missió de Lluita 4 Aptitud is to form community alliances where awareness and empowerment serve as the nucleus for an improved quality of life. From children to adults, everyone is welcome to join the “lluita” in reversing health trends that are adversely affecting our quality of life. Lluita 4 Aptitud is a movement toward good health through the possibilities of change that can enhance one’s own life and the lives of those around them. This unique experience invites all members of the community to run/walk independently or with friends, família, i companys de treball.

* Districte Escolar del Comtat de Clark: Primer 100 els estudiants poden inscriure de forma gratuïta. Tots els estudiants i professors poden registrar-se per $20 fins al març 1st. L'agregat de $3 de cada registre per a l'esdeveniment es dividirà i donat a 10 escoles de CCSD designats que han demostrat la necessitat de suport en les següents àrees: programes esportius, educació física i excursions educatives.
