FFC 34 op november. 9 At Fight Dome Las Vegas is geannuleerd

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 8, 2018) – Vanwege redenen met medische problemen, Final Fight Championship heeft aangekondigd dat: “FFC 34” op 9 november is officieel geannuleerd.

 

 

 

Nick Sadeghi, MD van Athlete Advantage Medical in Las Vegas, NV, heeft de volgende verklaring vrijgegeven aan Final Fight Championship.

 

De Nevada State Athletic Commission vereist dat een reeks medische onderzoeken wordt uitgevoerd door een professionele jager om de medische toestand van een jager te bepalen, de uitkomst van die examens die bepalen of de jager toestemming krijgt om deel te nemen of niet. Van het grootste belang is het fysieke welzijn van de vechter. Er werd vastgesteld door onafhankelijke artsen die de examens voor FFC uitvoerden, evenals de Nevada State Athletic Commission dat verschillende vechters die gepland waren om te strijden op de vechtkaart van 9 november niet zouden kunnen concurreren vanwege abnormale MRA-bevindingen die kleine aneurysma's in de hersenen identificeerden. Voor duidelijke redenen, deze jagers konden niet worden vrijgemaakt om te concurreren zonder de juiste medische behandeling. Dit omvat overleg met een neurochirurg en een interventieradioloog. Sommige jagers kunnen hierna worden gewist, maar sommigen hebben mogelijk een chirurgische ingreep nodig om het aneurysma te corrigeren voordat hij of zij in de toekomst kan blijven vechten.

 

 

 

FFC CEO/voorzitter, Orsat Zovko, heeft zijn eigen verklaring afgegeven met betrekking tot de ongelukkige annulering.

 

 

 

“We zijn teleurgesteld om deze aankondiging te doen, maar op zo'n korte termijn was het onmogelijk om vooruit te komen omdat vier van onze zes gevechten werden gestopt door de commissie en medisch personeel, inclusief ons Main Event en Co-Event,” zei Zovko.

 

 

 

“We moeten de strikte regels en richtlijnen van de Nevada Athletic Commission volgen, en we respecteren de beslissingen van de medische gemeenschap, omdat het in het belang van de strijders is, en hun gezondheid beschermen is het uiteindelijke doel.”

Las Vegas, NV, (November 2, 2018) – Het Main Event van “FFC 33” leverde een overstuur en een nieuwe kampioen op, als Mykta Chub (18-7-0) versloeg voorheen ongeslagen kampioen Andi Vrtacic (10-1-0) door split decision (47-48, 48-47, 48-47) om de titel van FFC middengewicht kickboksen te winnen.

 

 

 

Chub en Vrtacic toonden veel uithoudingsvermogen tijdens hun vijf ronde oorlog. Chub wist tijdens dit gevecht Vrtacic vrij vaak in de hoeken te pinnen, de jonge Vrtacic frustreren en hem ervan weerhouden zijn kenmerkende hoge trappen te gebruiken. Vrtacici landde een aantal mooie kopschoppen en weinig solide combinaties, maar het was niet genoeg om indruk te maken op de juryleden, waardoor Chub de overwinning kon stelen, en de titel.

 

 

 

In het Co-Main Event, waarbij twee zeer opwindende lichtgewicht MMA-jagers betrokken waren, Darrick Minner (22-9-0) verspilde geen tijd met het indienen van voormalige UFC-jager, “Cassius” Clay Collard (16-8-1) door naakte vernauwing in de allereerste ronde. De overwinning op de onderwerping, dat was de 19th of de carrière van Minner, nam alleen 31 seconden uit te voeren.

 

 

 

Andre Keys (10-1-0) ging het hele duel met Randy Fuentes (7-7-1) in hun Super Welterweight Boxing-gevecht. Sleutels gewonnen door middel van split decision (55-59, 55-59, 58-56) in een gevecht waarbij beide vechters in de pocket stonden en harde schoten uitwisselden voor het grootste deel van hun gevecht van zes ronden.

 

 

 

In een Kickboxing Lightweight matchup, ondanks het breken van zijn linkerarm in het gevecht, Chris McMillan (38-10-0) won een split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28) tegen Teo Mikelic (18-7-0) in een gevecht met enkele vicieuze trappen en scherpe stoten van beide vechters.

 

 

 

De nacht begon met Sherrard Blackledge (1-0-0) het winnen van zijn professionele MMA-debuut met eenparigheid van stemmen (30-27, 30-26, 30-27) over Jordan Christensen (0-2-0) in de weltergewicht divisie.

Mykyta Chub vecht tegen Andi Vrtacic voor het FFC middengewicht kampioenschap in Fight Dome

LAS VEGAS, NV, (Oktober 30, 2018) – Het hoofdevenement is klaar voor “FFC 33” en er zullen twee explosieve kickboksers uit het buitenland bij betrokken zijn. Mykyta Kopvoorn (17-7-0) van de Oekraïne, veldslagen Andi vrtacic (10-0-0) Pula, Kroatië, voor het FFC middengewicht kampioenschap op november 2nd, bij Fight Dome in Rio Las Vegas van Caesars Entertainment.

 

 

 

Beide vechters hebben meerdere keren voor FFC gevochten. Kopvoorn heeft een (3-1) record tijdens zijn ambtstermijn bij Final Fight Championship. Vrtacic, wie is de verdedigende middengewicht kampioen, beschikt over een (4-0) opnemen met FFC.

 

 

 

“De fans van Fight Dome Las Vegas waren dol op onze kickboksgevechten op FFC 31,” Said FFC CEO / Founder, Orsat Zovko. “En we zijn verheugd dat wereldkampioen kickboksers in november weer voor ons vechten 2nd.”

LAS VEGAS, NV, (Oktober 22, 2018) – Final Fight Championship verwelkomde vrijdagavond een voorname gast, Oktober. 19th, en ze zat op de eerste rang om haar man te onderhouden. UFC vlieggewichtjager, Paige VanZant, was aanwezig voor “FFC 32 – Graves vs. Seumanutafa” kijken naar haar echtgenoot, Austin “IF 47” Vanderford (6-0-0), een zinderende knock-out bezorgen aan Edmilson Freitas (7-3-0) in de eerste ronde van hun co-main event gevecht.

 

 

 

Vanderford won zijn zesde opeenvolgende gevecht en hield zijn onberispelijke staat van dienst in tact, na de landing een stevige linkerhand naar de tempel van Freitas aan de 1:38 mark van de eerste ronde. Handelaar, zoals u zich kunt voorstellen, was vervuld van opwinding toen ze zag hoe haar man zo overtuigend en opwindend won.

 

 

 

“Ik vond het geweldig, ik ben trots op hem”, zei VanZant “Ik heb gewoon zoveel vertrouwen in hem, in deze was ik helemaal niet echt zenuwachtig, hij is zo voorbereid en klaar voor alles.”

 

 

 

Vanderford's knock-out van Freitas in de eerste ronde stuurde het publiek in Fight Dome Las Vegas in razernij, en het stelde Vanderford in staat te beseffen dat hij een stap dichter bij het bereiken van al zijn professionele doelen komt.

 

 

 

“Ik heb het gevoel dat ik er steeds dichter bij kom om dingen voor mij te laten gebeuren”, zei Vanderford “Ik wil de FFC en de hele organisatie bedanken voor het geven van de kans en de strijd, en ik wist gewoon of ik verbinding maakte met een van mijn power shots hij (Freitas) ging slapen.”

 

 

 

Onnodig te zeggen, “FFC 32” was zowel een leuke als productieve avond voor het pasgetrouwde stel. VanZant en Vanderford trouwden onlangs tijdens een ceremonie aan de oceaan in september 29th.

 

 

 

“Het was geweldig, ze (FFC) zet hier een geweldige show neer”, zei VanZant “Het is cool dat ze (FFC) laat de vechters dit goed zien en hopelijk hij (Vanderford) kan hier weer vechten.”

Las Vegas, NV, (Oktober. 20, 2018) – Sometimes things in life are simply quick and painless. Most of the fights at FFC 32 echter, were actually quick and painful. Knockouts, let’s be honest, usually are quite painful.

 

 

 

Friday night’s Main Event was one of the only fights at FFC 32 (which was an all-MMA event) that did not end in a knockout. Shelton “Gravedigger” Graves (9-3-0) defeated Carl “Badwater” Seumanutafa (11-9-0) met eenparigheid van stemmen (49-46, 49-46, 49-46) to win the vacant FFC MMA Heavyweight Championship Title.

 

 

 

Graves did a great job of avoiding standing toe-to-toe with the knockout artist, Seumanutafa, spending most of the fight pressing the heavy-handed Samoan (Seumanutafa) up against the ropes and using knees to the body and a series of quick uppercuts to frustrate his opponent. De strategie werkte, as Seumanutafa was frustrated with the constant pressure, which allowed Graves to keep him on the ropes and against the turnbuckle, taking away any opportunity for a Seumanutafa trademark knockout.

 

 

 

In het Co-Main Event, Undefeated Welterweight, Austin “IF 47” Vanderford (6-0-0), kept his unblemished record in tact when he rocked Emilson “The Amazonian Warrior” Freitas (7-3-0) with a nice left hand to the temple at the 1:38 mark van de eerste ronde. Vanderford wins by KO for only the second time in his professional career.

 

 

 

Previously unbeaten Light Heavyweight, Ivan Erslan (6-1-0), was trying to stay undefeated as a professional but his opponent, Branko Busick (3-1-0) had other ideas. Busick sent Erslan to the canvas at the 4:41 mark of the second round with a solid left hand to the chin and it was all she wrote for Erslan. Busick picks up the first KO victory of his young career.

 

 

 

In the Lightweight division, as promised, it was a “grapplers paradise” for as long as it lasted… And it didn’t last very long. Brandon “Kiba” Ricetti (9-2-0) submitted Adam “Smash” Smid (11-10-0) by Arm Triangle at the 4:26 mark of the very first round. If you’re keeping score, all nine of Ricetti’s wins have come by submission.

Shelton Graves takes on Tony Johnson for the FFC MMA Heavyweight Championship

LAS VEGAS, NV, (Oktober. 16, 2018) – Final Fight Championship follows up its historical Las Vegas debut (op oktober. 12th) with a Heavyweight MMA title fight on Oct. 19th. “FFC 32” will be an all-MMA fight card featuring some of the most talented mixed martial artists in the country, en verder.

 

 

 

In a clash between two hungry heavyweight sluggers, Shelton “The Gravedigger” Graves (8-3-0), Baltimore, MD zal worden geconfronteerd met Tony “schuit” Johnson (11-4-1), Nashville, TN in het main event van “FFC 32”, which takes place Friday, Oktober. 19th at Fight Dome Las Vegas located at Rio Las Vegas. Graves and Johnson will fight for the vacant FFC MMA Heavyweight Title.

BRESTOVAC KO’S DINIZ & EGLI CHOKES OUT NEVES AT FFC 31

LAS VEGAS, NV, (Oktober. 14, 2018) – The debut of the all-new Fight Dome Las Vegas delivered an explosive night of fireworks at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino on Friday night. “FFC 31 Night of Champions” was certainly a night to remember.

 

 

 

“The Scorpion Sting” Mladen Brestovac delivered the knockout of the night, with a blistering high left kick to the head of Jhonata Diniz at the two-minute mark of Round 3.

 

 

 

The trademark left head kick of Brestovac sent Diniz crashing to the canvas. Met de overwinning, Brestovac retains the FFC Heavyweight Kickboxing title and improves his record to (55-14-1.). Diniz, who was the aggressor for most of the fight and showcased his exciting come-forward style, daalt naar (16-6-0.)

Shkodran “The Albanian Warrior” Veseli (83-18-1) won the FFC Welterweight Kickboxing Title with a 4th Round KO stoppage vs. Francois “Bang Bang” Ambang (18-8-1). A series of solid punches from Veseli rocked Ambang and sent him to a kneeling position at the 1:23 mark of the Round number four.

 

 

 

In the boxing portion of the evening, Shawn Miller, of Troy, NY (19-4-1) won a unanimous decision victory in his ten round title fight with Dennis “Mongoose” Morris (14-3-1). Miller won by the scores of 100-90, 97-93, 97-93, earning him the WBU Cruiserweight Championship.

 

 

 

In the FFC MMA Welterweight Championship, Ben Egli lived up to his reputation as an expert submission artist by choking out Roberto Neves at the 3:21 teken van de eerste ronde. Egli won the fight by rear naked choke, something he has done a total of five times in his pro MMA career. The championship victory brings Egli’s record to (11-2-0) while Neves falls to (10-3-0).

Clay Collard battles Dave Courchaine for the FFC MMA Lightweight Championship on Oct. 12

LAS VEGAS, NV, (Oktober. 1, 2018) – The main event is set for “FFC 31 Night of Champions” and it will consist of two rising stars in Mixed Martial Arts as Clay “Cassius” Collard (16-7-1) of Price, OUT, veldslagen Dave “Insane” Courchaine (20-7-0) of Cheney, WA, for the FFC MMA Lightweight Championship at the all-new Fight Dome Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.

 

 

 

After suffering two straight losses under the UFC banner in 2015, Collard returned to MMA in 2018 and responded with two straight victories, a TKO win over Troy Dennison, and a submission win (by triangle choke) against Carson Gregory.

 

 

 

As for Courchaine, he was on a five-fight win streak dating back to 2014 before losing to Arthur Estrazulas by 1st round KO in January of 2017. Both fighters are hungry and both fighters have something to prove when they step into the ring on Oct. 12.

 

 

 

There will be one other MMA title bout on the “Night of Champions” as Ben Egli (10-2-0) of Tigard, OF, takes on Brazilian, Roberto Neves (10-3-0) for the FFC Welterweight Title. The remainder of the multi-discipline fight card will consist of championship bouts involving boxing and kickboxing.

 

 

 

The WBU cruiserweight title will be up for grabs in boxing as Dennis Morris (14-2-1) van Milwaukee, WI, goes up against Shawn Miller (18-4-1) of Troy, NY.

 

 

 

In Kickboxing, Glory veteran, François Ambang (18-7-1) of Mechanicsville, VA (via Cameroon), will fight battle-tested Albanian, Shkodran Veseli (83-18-1) for the FFC Welterweight Title, and Brazilian, Jhonata Diniz (16-5-0) confronteert zich met, Croatian sensation, Mladen Brestovac (54-14-1).

Final Fight Championship Makes History, With Multi-Year Combat Sports Agreement Involving, Rio Las Vegas and CBS Sports Network

LAS VEGAS, NV, (Zeven. 14, 2018) – One of the fastest growing combat sports promotion companies in the world, Final Fight Championship (FFC), and Caesars Entertainment’s Rio Las Vegas, will deliver a weekly combat sports series called, “Fight Dome”, which debuts on Friday, Zeven. 28, and will air live on CBSSN (CBS Sports Network).

The groundbreaking announcement marks the first time in the history of Las Vegas that a combat sports promotion company has established residency inside of a resort casino to deliver a weekly show involving multi-disciplines including, Boksen, Kickboksen en MMA.

CBS Sports Network and Final Fight Championship (FFC) announced today a multi-year partnership to make CBS Sports Network the exclusive television home of FFC. The first FFC event premieres live on CBS Sports Network from The Fight Dome at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday, Zeven. 28 (10:00PM, EST).

 

 

CBS Sports Network will air eight FFC events on Friday’s throughout the remainder of 2018. A champion will be crowned after each event with a belt as part of the national telecast.
