We also discuss Walter “2 Guns” Wright winning his main event fight against Mark DeLuca a couple days after we interviewed him last week. Wright’s split decision win came in part due to a persistent jab that frustrated DeLuca and left him bloodied, bruised and exhausted by the final bell. Of course bringing up this fact gets us all going on the absolute necessity of the jab in any combat sports fighter’s toolbox.

Demetrius Andrade Goes To Harvard

PROVIDENCE (Studeni 4, 2015) – Prošle četvrtak navečer, undefeated super welterweight Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade (22-0, 15 Kos) je nagrađen od strane Harvard klub na svojoj godišnjoj Fight Night u Bostonu Back Bay.
27-godišnji Andrade, boreći se Providnosti, is a former world super welterweight champion. The sensational southpaw was a 2008 U.S. Olimpijac i 2007 AIBA Svjetsko prvenstvo zlatne medalje.
“Bilo je lijepo biti na Harvard klubu s toliko uspješnih ljudi tamo podržava boksačkim,” Andrade said. “Bio sam zahvalan za njih pokazuje toliko zanimanje za mene.”
