“He was throwing some wild shots. I just had to adjust to that. I felt like my defense was good on the inside.
“His shots were coming wide, and I was catching those from the inside. The second half of the fight I definitely came on hard and was putting on pressure. We waited so long that I think it might have had a little effect on my energy.

Ghvamichava outworked and outslugged Prescott, knocking him down in round four before knocking him down again in round seven and eventually forcing the stoppage. Prescott got off to a fast start, using his length and a strong right hand to dictate action in the first frame.

The sixth round saw Hill lose a point early on in the round for a low blow. The deduction clearly increased the urgency in Hill who pressed forward, delivering the best action of the fight. Hill pushed the pace but Hernandez withstood the strong combinations and repeatedly caught Hill with strong left hands. Outside of staggering Hill once early in the seventh round, both fighters continued to throw hard punches all the way to the final bell.
The punch stats reflected the close nature of the fight as Hernandez out landed Hill 161 ലേക്ക് 157 while it was Hill who had the slight edge in accuracy, താഴെയിറങ്ങുക 33 percent of his punches to 31 percent for Hernandez. After staggering Yoruba several times in round four, McAllister really began to do damage when he teed off on Yoruba with multiple unanswered shots to close out the frame. The one-sided action showed in the punch stats as McAllister out landed Yoruba 184 ലേക്ക് 76 eventually leading to a frustrated Yoruba being deducted a point in round six for low blows.

He was unbeaten in his first 18 pro bouts while fighting out of Australia. The 31-year-old won his first five bouts stateside and will look for back-to-back victories when he battles James in Birmingham.
The fighter from Armenia who now fights out of Glendale, കാലിഫോർണിയ, Darchinyan is coming off of stoppage victories over Cris Paulino and Prayoot Yaijam. “My dad has been with me since the beginning. We know how to work with each other. He’s made a lot of sacrifices to get me where I’m at today. Of course we butt heads sometimes but at the end of the day, I know he’s got my back. We are on this journey together and I’m grateful for all that he’s done for me. We are a great team.”
On the importance of staying undefeated…
“It’s very important for my career to remain undefeated. A win will keep me in the mix as far as fighting on big cards, especially on TV. This is a major crossroad in my career and the time is now for me to take it to the next level. I need to win this bout and march up the rankings, guaranteeing me more big fights.”

I’ve been sparring with nothing but lefties, and since both Diaz and Collazo are southpaws, it’s business as usual. Diaz is coming off a close majority decision loss…his first defeat, so I know he’s hungry to get back in that win column. This is a dangerous fight and I’m not taking it lightly. Like always, I’m willing and ready to fight anyone they put in front of me.”

We have a great game plan that we feel we can execute against Diaz. I’m very happy with my team.”
On when he thinks he’ll be ready to challenge for a world title…
“I feel I’m ready now. I’m ranked in the top ten in three of the major sanctioning organizations, so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know a victory against Diaz will get me closer to a title shot. I have to keep winning to fulfil the goal I set for myself when I first started boxing, and that’s to become a world champion.”
On the current landscape of the welterweight division….
“The division is loaded with great fighters. With the exception of Jesse Vargas, all the champions are undefeated. The road to get to the top is very tough because everyone in the top ten is an exceptional fighter. I think it’s the toughest division in boxing.”

“I stay ready in the gym. I had a fight scheduled with Miguel Vasquez that fell through so now it’s on to another Vasquez. I had to switch to southpaw sparring but that is nothing new to me. The former champion from Mexico worked behind a strong jab and brought the fight to Bone throughout the main event. Bone was able to return fire and was effective at times when countering.
The jab of Vazquez eventually led to success with the right hand that was able to hurt his opponent and keep the battle-tested Bone from building momentum.
Both fighters landed at a nearly identical rate as Vazquez connected on 22 percent of his punches while Bone landed 21 ശതമാനം. എങ്കിലും, it was Vazquez with the advantage in punches landed at 94 ലേക്ക് 74.

As the fight went on Flores showed improved movement and a variety of effective punches that allowed him to take control of the fight. Most notably, Flores used a bruising left hook to the body that left Tamayo marked up and slowed down his offense.
Both fighters threw over 550 punches but it was Flores who out landed his opponent 175-121. The judges rewarded the still undefeated fighter with the unanimous decision by scores of 100-90 ഒപ്പം 98-92 രണ്ടുതവണ.
