JONATHAN RICE BATTLES ARSLANBEK MAKHUMUDOV FOR WBC INTERNATIONAL TITLE

LOS ANGELES, SÅSOM (Mars 28, 2019) – Kraftigt Jonathan Rice (10-3-1, 6 Kos), som hanteras av Greg Hannley av Prince Ranch Boxing, kommer att slåss Arslanbek Makhmudov (7-0, 7 Kos) for the vacant WBC International title, Maj 17, 2019, på Montreal Casino, i Montreal, Kanada. The 10-round main event is being promoted by Eye of the Tiger Hantering.

Rice has three consecutive wins, two by knockout, under the tutelage of former world champion Wayne McCullough, who took over as head trainer in September of 2018. With McCullough in his corner, Rice is confident that he will come out victorious against Makhmudov, who will be fighting in his backyard. Makhmudov is originally from Russia, but now resides in Montreal.

“I have great coach in Wayne McCullough, and I know I can beat Makhmudov with the game plan we have in place.” stated Rice. “I’ve improved tremendously over the last year and my confidence is at an all time high. Fighting in Makhmudov’s backyard will be no easy task. I will have to be at my best to show the world that I belong in the same conversations with all the top heavyweights in the world. Capturing the WBC International title will open up many doors for my career.”

Demetrius Andrade to be Ringside at Saunders – Lemieux Tonight on HBO World Championship Boxing®

White Plains, NY/Philadelphia, PA — Undefeated, two-time world champion Demetrius Andrade will be ringside for the WBO World Middleweight Title bout between undefeated champion Billy Joe Saunders and David Lemieux.
Andrade (25-0, 16 Kos) made his middleweight debut on October 21st with an impressive 12-round unanimous decision over Alantez Fox and will be looking at the winner of the title fight as a possible opponent in the near future.
“I am looking forward to seeing a good fight. A boxer in Saunders against a banger in Lemieux. I am excited to be ringside for the fight, and may the best man win. The winner of the fight is a world champion, and I just want to fight the best fighters in the middleweight division.”
Andrade of Providence, Rhode Island is ranked number-3 by the WBO, number-7 by the WBC, number-3 by the WBA, and number-7 by the IBF.
Andrade is co-promoted by Banner Promotions and Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing.

GH3 Promotions CEO Vito Mielnicki excited for Antoine Douglas opportunity this Saturday against Gary O’Sullivan on HBO World Championship Boxing®

Nutley, NJ (December 15, 2017)–Denna lördag night world-ranked middleweight Antoine Douglas (22-1-1, 16 Kos) will make his HBO debut when he takes on Gary O’Sullivan (26-2, 18 Kos) in the co-feature bout of an HBO World Championship Boxing® tripleheader from Laval, Quebec, Kanada.
The main of event will pit undefeated WBO world middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders defending his title against Canadian knockout artist David Lemieux.
Douglas and O’Sullivan will battle for the WBO Intercontinental Middleweight title as well as Douglas defending his NABA Middleweight title with the winner moving up the line to face the winner of the main event.
Douglas’ longtime promoter GH3 Promotions’ Vito Mielnicki is excited about the opportunity that his fighter has not only på lördag, but going forward with a new alliance with Golden Boy Promotions.
“Antoine had an awesome training camp. He trained not far from our offices in New Jersey, and I was able to visit him often, and he looks tremendous,” sade Mielnicki.

Douglas vs. O’Sullivan is a 10-round fight for the WBO Intercontinental Middleweight Title presented by Golden Boy Promotions and Eye of The Tiger Management in association with GH3 Promotions and Murphy’s Boxing. Seldin vs. Ulysse, Jr. is a 10-round super lightweight fight presented by Golden Boy Promotions, Eye of The Tiger Management and Star Boxing. LOS ANGELES (Jan. 16) – Golden Boy Promotions och Eye of the Tiger Hantering har gått samman som kanadensiska fläkt favorit och tour de force David Lemieux has signed an exclusive promotional contract with Golden Boy Promotions. After his explosive headlining debut in the U.S. vid Barclays Center i Brooklyn, NY, på December. 6, den älskade Montreal infödda inte bara behöll hans NABF mellanvikt titel, men visade sig kritiker att han är en mäktig kraft i 160 pund klass.

 

Lemieux imponerade när han knockade Gabriel “Kung” Rosado in the third round and won by technical knockout in the tenth round when the medical examiner stopped the fight due to Rosado’s terribly swollen left eye. ESPN’s Dan Rafael said “det är ingen tvekan om att David tillhör eliten, Han har ett par förluster men många andra efter förluster har haft stora karriärer såsom Wladimir Klitschko. Han har en stor potential.”

 

Lemieux tidigare anfallen mot Fernando Guerrero för då vakanta NABF mellanvikt titel resulterade i en dominerande seger för Lemieux, knacka ner Guerrero i första omgången, andra omgången, tredje omgången och slutligen en teknisk knockout i den fjärde omgången. Nu Lemieux är förvisso ses som en allvarlig utmanare för en VM-titel och för 2015 anfall mot eliten av divisionen.

 

För närvarande rankad tvåa i WBC, femtedel av IBF och tredje av WBO, Lemieux kommer igång sin åttonde raka seger och sjunde raka knockout.
