Undefeated Super Bantamweight Adam Lopez Punctuates 2015 with 2nd round knockout over former world champion Erik Aiken

San Antonio, Texas (Decembro 16, 2015) – Ese pasado Sábado night in his hometown of San Antonio, undefeated Super Bantamweight contender Adam López(14-0, 7 KO) scored a 2nd round stoppage over former world champion Erik Aiken in a bout that took place at the AT & T Center.

 

Lopez is promoted by GH3 Promotions.

Lopez dominated the action as he took the fight to the former champion, finally stopping Aiken at 2:09 da segunda rolda.
“I was very excited and we executed the game-plan,”dixo López, who celebrated his 25th birthday on fight night.
“I am happy to have that win in San Antonio. It’s my hometown and it’s a great place to be. I wish I was on later in the card, but I am happy to get the stoppage win.”
Aiken, who was a Featherweight world champ is the biggest name on the Lopez’ resume to date.
“He is a former world champion and even though he hasn’t fought at the world championship level in a while, a win is a win.”
Lopez will kick off what he believes will be a huge 2016 with a nationally televised bout in February.
“I am headlining ShoBox on February 12th. It will be my first headliner. Despois diso, I hope that I could be in a line for a world title opportunity. I am ranked number-seven by the WBA but if that isn’t next after the ShoBox fight, we will wait for our opportunity.”
When asked if he indulged in any birthday / knockout win celebrations, Lopez was busy with his family and fans.
“I really didn’t even eat. let alone eat any cake. I was busy thanking my family and fans. I got the best present anyway and that is to be able to do what I love to do on my birthday and that is fight and win!”

San Antonio, Texas (Decembro 2, 2015) – Invicto Super Bantamweight Adam López (13-0, 6 KO) volve aos cuadriláteros en Saturday, 12 decembro no AT&T Center na súa terra natal San Antonio cando asume o ex campión do mundo Erik Aiken nunha loita marcada para 6 roldas.
López, que se clasifica como número e oito por WBA na forza das súas vitorias sobre loitadores invictos Pablo Cruz e Eliecer Aquino en ShoBox: A Nova Xeración.
“Todo é bo e eu fun quedando listo,”dixo López. “É moi bo estar loitando na San Antonio e tamén estar loitando no meu aniversario. It could not be any better as the arena is about a mile from my home and its the perfect ending to my year”
López vai virar 25 o día da loita e quere continuar co impulso dunha forte 2015.
“Este foi o mellor ano como profesional. I got the two big wins on ShoBox e ter pego títulos rexionais que debería me clasificados nas organizacións. I wish it would have happened sooner, pero mellor tarde que nunca!”
En Aiken, está a asumir un veterano que foi fóra do arena, pero é un ex-campión mundial peso pena, que ten vitorias sobre Tim Austin eo seu esforzo conquista do título sobre Valdemir Pereira.
“Eu non sei moito sobre Aiken, pero non podo subestimar ninguén, especialmente no caso de que foron un campión do mundo.”
“Quero ollar impresionante en 12 decembro e teñen unha gran 2016. I am hoping for bigger opportunities. I am looking to headline a ShoBox tarxeta en febreiro.
